To quote a friends older bother;
"Who needs their biological family when they can chose their own?"
*big grin* welcome to my page of appreciation for my wonderful friends whom I consider to be my cyber family.
To begin at the beginning (as most people tend to do), I met my cyber family at different points during my net life, which began properly on the 23rd of January, 1997. Since getting back online that day in january (after having had net for 2 months then being cut off for a period of 4 months) I've made many close friends, and have become part of a beautiful group of people, some of them I've met in person, some I've spoken to over the phone, and some, I'm sad to say, have disappeared from my life.
To start with the oldest and proceed to the youngest, I'll begin with
Jace. Jace and i met on kidscom (where i met all my c-fam) we met because i was able to butt my big nose in and offer some advice. He kept coming back, and i kept shrinking his head. *S* jace knows so much about me, I hope to the goddess i never make him angry. hehehe. He's a beautiful man with alot going for him, especially his world famous bearhugs. Hes a bro for life. Jace, I love you big time *bearhugs*
Kristi is my older sister, and one of my best friends. She lives 6 hours away, in Wagga, but that hasn't stopped us from several visits. *Big smile* Shes one of the most fun, beautiful and smart people I know, and shes a goddamned BUG.
Wayne. He's fussy, picky, intellectual, critical and a perfectionist, he makes for a pretty damned good brother. Good enough to keep any court fool inline.He lives in the Dandenong Ranges, in Australia, and I haven't met him yet either, but I will one day (and thats a bloodi promise, wether you like it or not boy!). Wayne appears to live for extravagance, once giving me a small golden, jewel encrusted dragon by the name of Mufaq, better known as Reggie................ I know he often feels like I take him for granted and that I don't appreciate him, and sometimes I do take him for granted, but I'm telling him now (so listen up good, wayne;) You were my second c-bro and I love you like hell, I've lost you twice as a c-bro and its made me realise that you are a legend and I'm glad you're my c-bro. WARNING! The wrath of Sammael is something to be feared.
Lynda . Living in Lismore, age 15 (as of October the 5th) Lynda and I met at a time I don't remember and we're reunited at another date I don't recall. hehehe (no offence, but I have a real bad memory) The long and the short of it is that Lynda and I are c-sis's and she is Jeremy's c-girl. Lynda and I don't see much of one another, but shes still a valued friend and a great person to chat with. Shes wiccan, like me (and Kristi and Rachel, for that matter) and its great to have friends who understand my religion (face it, we're not the most popular people in the world). So, its been 8 months at least, Lynda, our friendship and I hope it keeps going for a lot longer.
Jeremy . Commonly known as JUM, this Pauline Hanson hater is a rare species which enhabits Mosman, of Sydney, Australia. I can't really say any more than that because a few months ago jum became distant and practically non exsistant in the net world. Fair enough we all lose our connections occasionally, fair enough, modems are programmed to die on us every 9 months, but theres no exscuse for disregarding phonecalls and messages. Jum, i don't know that I've done anything wrong, but I'd sure as hell like to hear from you some day.
Rachel . I first met Rachel through Wayne (incidentally I met all these peeps through the KC graffiti wall). They made a perfect team and won many victories over losers on the graffiti wall. The three of us hit it off pretty well and Rach became my c-sis. She understands alot of stuff that I crap on about (if she doesn't, she's a great actress) and shes just really cool. She lives only an hour and a half's train trip away from me, west of Sydney, Australia, so I can visit her fairly easily, which is really cool. Shes a bug too, someone once called her "dark angel" and now everytime I see her I can't help thinking how right they were to describe her like that.
Sophie shares the name of my real life big sis, only this sophie, sophie B, lives in new zealand and is my younger sis. *embarassed smile* I feel really awful, Soph was my first ever c-sib now i think of it and allthough we fell out of touch awhile ago, we're back ontrack now and she rocks *big smile* Soph honey, i'm sorry you were missing from this page, you're not anymore, take care ok lil sis? :)
Rhiannon. Fresh from Kansas Rhiannon is my lil brainiac sister *g* well theres a genius in every family and I'm inclined to believe its Rhi (sorry if u don't agree). We don't see much of Rhi anymore, but she was one of the founders of the Capulets and a close friend of mine, Raches, James and Peteys.
Pete. Pete. On the 30th of October, 1997, cyberspace, America, the world, and in particular my c-fam, suffered the loss of a very special man. His name was Pete and he was James' real life lil bro, Rach's c-guy and my c-bro. He was loved and admired by those fortunate enough to know him well, and none of us can understand the cause for our loss. I know that Pete will live long in all our hearts, I just wish it never had to have happened, of all the people in the world, Pete was the least deserving. He was a good kid, and deserves the best of happiness in his next life.
Spides was my first ever c-bro, he was ageless, nameless, but not without attitude ;). He lived in New Zealand. I met him over a year ago, and again when I got back online in January. He's a big Sepultura, Korn, Tool, RATM and Type O negative fan (needless to say hes not too impressed with my music tastes *s*). He recently got back with his girlfriend and I've never seen him happier, and I'm glad, because now almost all my c-fam is happy. Spides, I love u lil man, have fun :).
So, thats my c-fam, and I hope we stay in touch forever, cos I love em all . Hear that, brothers n sisters? I love and appreciate you all. Look after yourselves.
