Blind Faith - The BF Aeroplane Saga & Update
A bit of a story about where the BF aeroplane resides now, 40 years after being used in the photographing of the famous album cover back during early summer of 1969. The young woman, posing with the aeroplane in her hands, was photographed in an arts studio loft adjacent to the Royal College of Arts, located in central London. That photo image was superimposed upon the green grass and powder blue sky background to create the composite album cover image. A stunning masterpiece of counterculture art, indeed. Read up about where the little wooden aeroplane's journey has been over the years, and where it now dangles from a residential ceiling as an ornamental relic, located somewhere within the London metro area.
Article originally published in Classic Rock Magazine, 2009.

of the young woman's hair upon the aeroplane wing!
