Blind Faith - Concert Performance Recordings

Blind Faith - Selected Concert Performance Recordings

There are several excellent non-commercial concert recordings held by serious collectors of Blind Faith's music. Over the years, these recordings, often referred to as "bootlegged recordings" because of unauthorized efforts to capture musician's artistry and to resell at a profit, have become highly desired artifacts of the rock & roll music collector's scene. During recent years, Blind Faith concert performance recordings have been ressurrected from dusty shelves and basement vaults, and several have actually been marketed and sold for handsome prices on the international collectors market through the internet. Alas, some of those are hashed together from several performances, of varied quality, even including Morgan Rehearsal tracks to fill out the length of a cassette or disc.

Below is a comprehensive listing of the known non-commercial recordings of Blind Faith's concert performances in Europe and North America. Within this listing you will find playlist and audio playback quality notes. This information may be beneficial to you in your quest to learn more about this intriguing topic; this rather rare and valued music captured many years ago on portable reel tape recorders by audience amateurs and enterprising bootleggers who attended the meager Blind Faith concert tour dates during the summer of 1969.

The selected non-commercial recordings below are the cream of the crop, most valued and finest quality reproductions of Blind Faith's performances. These particular five bootlegg recordings are rare audience recordings, pleasantly good audio quality, and suprisingly complete (except for a bit of choppy amateurish recording techniques that cause breaks in the continuous recording of the performances). Each recording has variations that are held by collectors, some with preliminary tuneups, others with announcements and verbal warnings to audiences to behave non-violently before the performances commenced. All classic glimpses into the Blind Faith era and the summer of 1969 when progressive rock music prevailed.
