Ecco the Dolphin*

Hello, and welcome to my new page all about Ecco the Dolphin! I told you I'd bring it out and I did. What, you don't know what Ecco the Dolphin is? Okay, to start with Ecco the Dolphin is a video game for the Sega Genesis sytem (I REALLY hope you know what that is). It has beautiful graphics (even if it is 16-bit) and is one my favorite games of all time. It really captured my heart the first time I played it (and still does by this day forward) and will always have a place in my heart. And it's even on my absolute favorite system of all time, the spectacular Genesis! It is an action/adventure game and is VERY exciting. It has a very special touch to it that makes it SO fun to play. You know the kind of game that never gets boring? Well, that's what this game is like! So you want to know about the character and the storyline that makes the game so great?

Okay, the game features a dolphin named Ecco. He is very young, fast, brave, and more powerful then other dolphins. You see, at the beginning of the game you see five, six dolphins playing together and plashing in the waves. Then, a powerful storm in the ocean (the Atlantic) occurs and sweeps all of your dolphin friends, brothers and sisters actually, (they are part of your pod) and even all other living things including fish to who knows where. And now other creatures that got brought into the tidal wave are there, in Ecco's water home. But somehow Ecco didn't go in the wave and doesn't know why. So he is determined to learn why. And now his once peaceful home is destroyed and Ecco must save his family and send the creatures of the sea (including sharks, sting rays, eels, jellyfish, octopus and many other creatures) back to where they belong. Not only that, he has to destroy the evil vortex too. Now, one small dophin is on a HUGE mission to make everything right again. Click on one of the links below to find out more about Ecco and his fascinating underwater world!
P.S. I'm sure they'll tell you the reason that Ecco didn't go through the tidal wave at the end of game. Even though you could take a pretty good guess at it anyway... ^_~
Oh, and if you don't have this game I advice you to go and get it soon before it's too late. It's not very expensive if you get it used (but then, you HAVE to get it used)! I got mine for Christmas but the sequel, Ecco: the Tides of Tide I got for $20.00 when it was new... it's alot cheaper now although I don't know the exact price of it... Well, the squel is just as good as the original, (I used to like the original game better but when I played it more I started liking it just as much) and I really think you should buy that game too. If you liked the original, which I don't know why you wouldn't, you'd absolutly LOVE this game... everybody I know just LOVES this game!
Okay, here's what it says on the back of the cartrige box for Ecco the Dolphin:
