Driving: From Detroit, Royal Canadian Highway 401
leads directly into the city, and
travels around it, as well as the smaller cities
surrounding Toronto, including
Mississauga, Etobichoke, North York, Scarborough and
Brampton. This highway
continues North to Montreal. RCH401 can be reached by
way of I69 through Port
Huron, I75, I94 and I96 by way of Detroit and I90 by
way of Niagra Falls.
Boat: There are several large ports on the shores of
Lake Ontario, The largest being the
outer harbor that connects to the Gardiner expressway
which connects directly to
Queen Elizabeth’s Way and RCH404 which bisect Toronto
and connect to RCH401.
Airports: There are two main airports for Toronto.
Island Airport is on the island south
of Toronto, and connect to Toronto Harbor. There are
three main ferries through
Toronto Harbor, which connect to the downtown close to
the Skydome and the CNtower. Downsview Airport is located Northwest of
Toronto between York and North
York. It is also a Royal Canadian Airforce base. It
connects to RCH 401.
