The real danger is that there are so many Christians out there in our society,
at various levels, and they are in fact mentally ill, but whom are not formally
recognized or diagnosed as such. And there are still more whom support
each other in their illness and whom refuse to recognize that fact. This is what
produces the extremely sick persons whom are the extremists who have
ideas to do harm to others and who may dream of those things so as to be
hypnotized to act those things out.

But the potential for this lies within ALL Christians. Other symptoms may
be observed in these individuals as well, such as hallucinations, paranoia,
and nervous breakdowns. As stated before, they 'see' things, talk in 'tongues'
claim 'miracles' at every turn (which supports what we said about these
persons being hypnotized, because in actuality they are throwing this term
around very loosely calling almost anything a 'miracle'). Some promote
hate and violence for their Christian causes. It is so important that everyone
know the true danger that Christianity poses to the mental health of the
individual and more importantly, those resulting effects that this has upon
society as a whole itself.

As a benefit to society and to the well-being of Christians and their
families, it should be incumbent upon the rest of us to acknowledge the
fact that they are indeed mentally ill and deficient so as to seek help for
them, so that they may regain or obtain as much of their natural sanity as
possible. What if we were talking about pyromaniacs? (And, we may well be!)
Would we let them run amuck causing harm to everyone? Then why should we
let those others who do not know or care what they are about do damage and
harm to society and to others around them? If we are truly caring and responsible,
we will not leave them to go untreated.

We have had it wrong in thinking that people are entitled to their own
"beliefs". It should NEVER be that the individual has the 'right' to model
their lives to the detriment of society. Also, we have not thought of 'belief'
as an illness or disease before. We have not considered the immediate
effects of 'belief' (irrational belief) upon those who live with those
"believers", such as children. We may well want to consider more than
we have in the past - we may need to think of children in the homes of
believers as if the believer were a very bad example to those children and
harmful to them. It should be that people are free, surely, to pursue those
things that they wish to so long as the result is not at the expense of society
ultimately. We have to think of new terminology, new language and
define things in ways that we never have before. It should be that persons
are free to "believe" in things that make sense and that are good, right,
inventive and any number of things that are to the benefit of the individual
and to society. But NOT to "believe" in religion, superstitions or anything
else that do not make sense and that are harmful to those individuals and
to others around them, as well as to society. This, is the difference.

If we allow irrational beliefs to triumph over reason we open the floodgates
to a number of maladies that are bound to afflict humanity. We allow more
Jim Joneses, new Hitlers, and any number of sick persons to terrorize us -
and, we hold back the natural progression of the human species.

Christians and others who believe in things irrationally are thoroughly
damaged human beings, who indeed are suffering with a mental illness.
Anyone who has hypnotized themselves to the point of delusion is truly
ill and in need of treatment for that illness. But at this point in time,
Christians think that "faith", believing and being a Christian is "good" and
that it does no harm. They do not realize what they do; and are oblivious
to the harm they really do to others, and it is the furthest thing from their
minds to consider that they are in fact participating in the greatest crime
that has ever been committed against humanity.

It is for these reasons as well as others, that we now call for the removal of
all religious persons from positions of authority, including those that represent
academia and government on any and all levels. As we now know, these
persons represent a clear and present danger to our current society as well
as for the future of our society. This article should be used as a source
document for the drafting of a formal Proclamation of Freedom from
Religion for sake of Humanity and the future welfare of Society.

CONCLUDING NOTES AND SUMMARY:
================================

Concluding notes about Hypnotism and Auto-Self-Hypnosis:

Of those things that most educated persons may know or think about
hypnotism in general are these;

(1) That persons have to be hypnotized by someone else. As we have found
out in this article, persons have the ability to hypnotize themselves without
even realizing it. So "no", persons do not need to be hypnotized by someone
else.
(2) We are told that persons who are hypnotized cannot do anything while
hypnotized that they do not want to do. As to persons not being able to do
things that they do not want to do while they are hypnotized, we have
discussed that already in this article - and we should also realize that by being
hypnotized while we are asleep we are most probably producing any number
of "hypnotic sequences" or episodes for ourselves, and that by doing so we
unwittingly can confine ourselves within self-imposed limitations.
(3) We are used to thinking of examples of hypnotism as isolated instances.
We may also be choreographing the things that we do and say during our
"wakeful" hours. When a person hypnotizes another person they usually do
so by giving the subject a task or tasks to perform at that moment and that
is that. But when a person does so to their own self while sleeping, that is a
different matter. Persons may be "serial hypnotizing" themselves and they
are not at all limited to performing single incident tasks.
(4) We have the idea that persons who are hypnotized have to be instructed
to "come out of it," usually by the snap of a finger or clap of a hand. So,
about this idea of hypnotized persons having to be instructed to "come out
of it", such as if is done when a person has hypnotized another, persons who
have hypnotized themselves appear to get around this by simply 're-hypnotizing'
themselves or changing the former tasks or "commands" in their dreams
when they are at sleep again. Which would mean that they are generally in
a perpetual state of being hypnotized.
(5) We tend to think of hypnotized persons as being in a 'trance'. As to our
thoughts regarding hypnotized persons as being in a 'trance' or trance-like
state, that is how they may appear to us when someone ELSE has hypnotized
them. But if one is hypnotized during SLEEP, then they undoubtedly have
dreamed in sequence and have any number of scenarios and reactions to
those already embedded within their everyday actions. So, they would not
appear outwardly to be in a trance-like state; yet, they are still, nonetheless
"hypnotized".
