The Cost of Christianity to Humanity:

We should cite the effects upon those human beings who are born into the
conflict of a world that is at variance against itself. That is, the conflict
between those who cling to irrational belief and those who aspire to reason.

Our very language has suffered as there is no avoiding words or phrases
that derive their meanings from things based in religion (i.e. irrational
belief). Our everyday willingness to let things pass and to not do something
is like saying that it is 'ok' to believe things for no other reason than that
we simply 'chose' to, as if that is something good. Instead of teaching
people to think wisely about their choices.

We need to turn the focus upon ethical teachings and to put the focus
upon human welfare, human needs, in the here and now as well as in the
future for the sake of society as a whole; rather than wasting time and resources
on vain selfishness and 'rewards' from a delusion.

Note again that we did state here that one need not be "religious" in the
conventional sense to be egocentric. Egocentricity is something that is
learned, like a bad habit that becomes a disease. One might say that
egocentricity and selfishness are 'learned traits'. However, the root cause,
the ultimate source of egocentricity is religion - and particularly Christianity.
The reason being that in order to "believe" one must think in ways that
MAKE them egocentric. We can't help but think that this was indeed the
original plan when the Christian religion was first created. In that persons
who would know these things would also know that they would set off a
chain reaction. Which, is just what had happened.

We should be doing all that we can to unite humanity, not divide it.

The Justice system can be made better by making it a "Justness System":

We should never attach a stigma to people that make them appear to be 'less'
than ourselves in our own mind and should think long and hard before we
even start to have such thoughts. Each and every small thing that we do that
divides us as humans also weakens us as a whole - ultimately. We need to
start thinking of all of the things that we can do to 'unite' us even further and
further all the time. "Nationalism" too, is another self-created 'evil' that needs
to be addressed and eliminated when and were possible. There is so much to
think about and do in order to make the world anew!

It should be against the law to call people "criminals" - the word "individual"
or "person" should be used instead. There should be nothing at all to set us
apart from each other or to cause us to lose respect for others simply because
they have found themselves in situations not of their own conscious making,
for maybe as little a thing as simply 'dreaming'. Calling people "criminals"
facilitates the use of rhetoric and stereotypes citizens. It also facilitates a 'class'
or 'caste' system that further divides humanity and perpetuates the belief in
'evil' and thus, causes humans to create 'evil' where none really exists.

We are creating 'evil' out of nothing but the "idea" of it, that we were
led to believe falsely that evil and devils exist, we recreate them in
our minds and make them 'real' - yet it is all of our own doing. Which
reminds one of the phrase; "We have nothing to fear, but fear itself."
That we can fear something that does not really exist makes that fear
real to some extent. If we can get beyond believing in nonsense, we will get
beyond those things that we irrationally fear. It is in our power to rid
ourselves of those things that torment us. But first we must be able to identify
them for what they really are.

There are also several residual effects of calling persons criminals
such as the facilitation of prejudice in the judicial process as well as
providing synthesized 'fuel' politically that is ultimately used against
citizens as a whole. If we allow things to just 'pass' and not do what
we should to stop the madness, then we have only ourselves to blame for
what results. Again, we have to do all that we can to correct the wrongs
that have been done to humanity and that have caused these divisions in
our society. We have to continue to identify the causes of the ills of
society and do what we can about those.

The "Justice System" as we know it is a barbaric and outmoded system that
is inhumane and contrary to the best interests of society. It serves to
perpetuate another huge lie, and that is that there is much 'evil' in the world
and that those that do wrong are 'evil' and must be punished and/or killed.

If we do not know for certain what makes persons do what they do, how
can we take it upon ourselves to mete out 'justice' upon them and even kill
them? And once we DO know that it most probably is NOT the fault of
those persons that did what we perceive to be 'evil' acts, then what? We
most certainly have a lot to consider before we can do anything at all
drastic ever again against our fellow humans - or even animals for that
matter.

The Truth about Lie Detector Tests and Judge Judy:

In an article by the syndicated columnist L.M. BOYD shortly after the
year 1983, "If you're truly innocent, never take a lie detector test. But
if you are guilty, take one - you might be exonerated. So advises a
polygraph expert. The test reads bodily reactions that oftentimes have
nothing to do with truth or falsehood. Says this authority: You can hang
yourself in the mind of the machine's interpreter just because you're
nervous."

Unless or until there is something developed that can demonstrate beyond
any doubt whatsoever exactly what the thoughts of a person are - in their
own language, word for word, as they are thinking those thoughts, no
"lie detector" can reasonably be termed such and MUST be considered
invalid in any sense. Lie Detector tests are not admissible as evidence in
many courts because they are just so ridiculous. What they are being
used for is for the purpose of intimidation of persons by law enforcement.
And this should be outlawed. Even for the purposes of intimidation and/or
any and all purposes involving law enforcement and/or judicial purposes.
