Abram and Lot Separate

Summary-
Abram and Lot went up from Egypt with everything they owned, Abram was very wealthy with livestock, gold, and silver. They went from place to place until they got to Bethel. Then they went to the place between Bethel and Ai where he had first built an altar and there Abram called on the name of the Lord. Abram and Lot were very wealthy in livestock and the land couldn't support both of their herds together. Also, the herdsmen from Abram and the herdsmen from Lot were quarreling. So Lot looked around and like the plain of the Jordan. Abram lived in the land of Canaan near Sodom. The people of Sodom were wicked and sinners. After Lot had left God told Abram that all the land to the North, South, East, and West will be yours and your offspring. He also said that Abram's offspring will be more plentiful then the dust on the ground. So Abram went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the Lord.

Atheist-
I think this is a perfect time to mention something: Not every chapter in the Bible need an atheist criticism. A lot of the chapters just show basic events and genealogy. There is nothing to say about this chapter in any critical way. We will just leave the atheist section blank if there is nothing critical to say, but we will always have a summary for people read.
