Information on The '98-'99 Basketball Cheer Squad

HHS Basketball Cheer '98-'99 was probably one of the best squads I have ever seen. We were truly a team, and always did our best. With top finishes at all of our competitions, and fun times, it deserved a webpage. See, we never did reach our all time goal of beating Lincoln, but we did do a good job this year. All our guys have succeeded and all will be attending great schools. Mister JJ over here is gonna be a star at Boston College, then there's me going to UW-Milwaukee. :) Tim, I forgot where he is going, but he's a great guy and a great stunter. But, we can't forget about the girls. The girls are who corrupted Brian....wait, Brian corrupted Brian. Hehe. Anyway, the girls kind of kept the squad together. Without them, we would have just been guys without a cause. The HHS girls are a great bunch, and can definitely stunt. Just give it time, and with their persistance, they'll get it. But, a big shout out goes to Sara Hutchins, for her unruling persistance, and ability to be "Miss All-Around". She also will be at UW-Milaukee. Go Panthers! Then, Miss Flyer, Cori, will be at UW-Oshkosh. I know she'll do great too, cause shes amazing at stunting. But, I can't forget the underclassmen. They are the ones who will be busting their butts next year. Especially Pimp. Hehe, that's Brian. Hopefully he won't be the only guy on the squad next year. Guys, please join Brian; he needs help; he can't handle all the girls by himself. :) But, anyway, back to the girls. They can be annoying at times, but hey, isn't everyone?? Underclassmen, keep up the good work, and I'll be watching you, so do your best. Cause if you never try, you will never succeed. Ok, back to the general team info. The coach is Miss Amy Armatoski, who I regretfully owe money, because she finally has a boyfriend. :) Way to go Amy! Our team consisted of 19 members, plus an extra, that helped out for competition, but she knows who she is. Ok, the members are [keep in mind (s) means senior]:

But, back to the info. Our squad was very close, but not too close. Once in a while, we would tear each others heads off, but it would end up being ok. I guess our squad was like one big family. :) I was suprised Amy put up with all of us. I have to admit, one of the funniest events was when I hit my head on the top of the bus. I know you all still laugh. :) No hard feelings. This was really hard to write, and I am trying to recap everything. Oh, our place finishes are as follows: All those finishes are great, especially fourth in state. We qualified for Nationals, but complications developed, and we were unable to attend. It sucked, I really wanted to go. We were definitely good enough too. Anyway, I have to mention Grafton Cheerleading cause they are amazing. They are our rivals, but they deserve the world. They have so many first place finishes, and if not first, very top finishes. Thanks for great enertainment Grafton. :) Hopefully I haven't bored you to death by now, but it's almost over. All I have to say, is that cheerleading is indeed a sport, and deserves all the respect that other sports recieve. And just because guys are cheerleaders, that does not mean they are gay. I know for a fact, that 99.9% of all guy cheerleaders have interest in girls. SO, all the guys work hard, and are really fine tuned athletic machines. All cheerleaders train as hard as alot of the athletes, and can run with the big dogs. Just give us cheerleaders a break, cause all we are doing is participating in a sport we love, and are good at, so just let us be. Thanks Y'all. Hope this informed you about HHS Cheerleading '98-'99.
