| Here is the NP435 tranny. I tried to clean it, then thought, what for? |

| Here is the NP435 with the top removed. The input shaft bearing retainer, and input shaft have been removed. The front of the output shaft slides into the end of the input shaft. So once you pull the input shaft off, the front of the output shaft is free, and can be seen in the picture. (RED arrow) |
