Along with Catwoman, Poison Ivy is a dynamic femme fatale challenger to the Dark Knight and Boy Wonder. Poison Ivy is semi-heroic in that most of her schemes are meant to punish those that would harm plants. Ivy's love of plants makes her think of herself as their protector, and her vigil has brought serious harm to many people.
Poison Ivy was once known as Pamela Lilleth Isley, a sucessful and world reknowned botanist. After learning that her body has a super human immune system. Pamela decided to turn to a life of crimw. Her motive would be to punish those that would bring harm to any plant. Poison Ivy uses her botanical knowledge to genetically alter plants into fierce killing machines. Ivy's incredible powers of seduction are another key tool in her crime career, but she hasn't been yet been able to get under Bruce Wayne's cloak.
