Diaspora

This part of my site is primarily for my friends from Houghton. It's a place to get updates on each other and what not. Pretty pointless for anyone else.

So Where is everybody?

Joyce Farr: my best friend, currently in Portland, attempting to fend off student loans and catering to midgets and Ray Bradbury. Busy as all hell, as usual.

Old School:

(these are the folks I grew up with)

Carole and Ted Noonan: Currently living in the Seattle area. Carole is studying to be a professional photographer while Ted is applying the best tattoos in the NorthWest to the customers wise enough to select his shop as the place to get decorated.

Sarah Oliver: Working on her Master's Degree at the U. of Iowa. Presumably keeping Heather Mroz from destroying too much of the city.

Jake Pegg: attending music school in Portland. Rocking like a Hurricane.

Aaron Blanning: Attending Pacific Lutheran U. for psychology, and planning a career as an Army Officer. We all wait with baited breath for tales of his latest escapades with women or motorcycles.

Aaron Fynewever: getting ready to go back to school to learn the ins and outs of the e-business world, having decided taht geology is not the field to be in right now. Somewhat gracefully losing his hair.

Colin Jenkins: Possibly engaged (!?), attending Western Michigan University.

Mike Ross: The last to stay in Houghton. Mike is as unchanging as the landscape.

Eric Page: recently married, possibly working at a tv station somewhere in the UP.

Joel Ebert: recently seperated, continually elusive.

New School (Houghton) freinds:

Kiko of Brasil: Currently in Ann Arbor, although this is subject to change at any time. Continuing a tradition, his little brother is now attending MTU.

Justin Alexander (aka Justin Planasch, Alexander Death Metal, Chickenman): Living in the Windy City along with Joe Wakefield. Has a new band, Justin Alexander and the Big Mistakes. God knows what trouble is being caused as you read this.

bernie larson: back in L.A., bernie runs his record company/recording studio out of Burbank and has a west-coast version of Cry On Cue burnin' up clubs out there. Look for the Midwest COC in Duluth for NYE and in Baraga for Reggae on the Rez 2000.

Emily Smith: Also out in L.A., Em runs her own design company.

Nik "de Dik" DeCovich: Last known whereabouts were Portland, as a successful snowboard instructor.

Brett Huntzinger: Mostl likely still at Da Ranch, and recently had some of his drawings published in a book about ancient copper working in the Upper Peninsula.

Todd Nordstrand: In Denver, along with Chris "Chief" Wood and Ian from Issue 13.

Glade Sowards and Davina Pollone: in Salt Lake City, Utah. Glade has a band together and Davina is working as a graphic designer, including jobs for the Sierra Club.

Marvin Roberson: Full time Zen student at the Zen Center, in Milwaukee. apparantly breifly involved with Jewel (yes, THAT JEWEL).

Mike and Nic: see their web page, Hello Bungy! for details.

Matt Bradley: Roll A phattie for this pimp daddy, and say: PIMPIN' AINT EASY!

College Buddies:

The whereabouts of the BFP can be found here.

Dan Dinan: Living in Hazel Park (I think)

Sean Henning: probably a fireman by now. Living with Ian, the dictionary definition of the "Big Galoot" - you gotta love him, even after he crushes your derby. These guys need to get on the web.
