hello cory.

nice to talk to you. my name is david rudnik. i am 25 years old and i have been straight edge since i was 16. prior to that i never drank or smoked or did any of that shit, but i did see some fucked up shit that some of the straight edge kids in my area did. turning on a friend because he drinks? i think thats fucked up and thats why i didnt associate myself with sxe.

but one night when i was at a party i realized i was the only one not drinking/smoking and although no one said anything to me, i started to feel peer pressure. thats when i started calling my self straight edge. it gave me a little extra confidence or whatever so i didnt feel pressured into doing something i didnt want to do.

and thats where i stand to this day. im a 25 year old, vegan straight edge, hardcore kid. i dont believe in violence and i think that any "crew" that stands behind violence is fucked up. yea, i know the courage crew isnt in salt lake city. im not a dumb ass. the words written about salt lake city were in regards to an episode of americas most wanted that aired on my 21st birthday about the bullshit that was going on out there.

and yea, i know the courage crew is in the midwest. ive had several runins with them. they like to come to our shows and talk about how theyre gonna flip over our vans and shit like that.

cory, im glad you dont go to shows anymore. im glad you have grown out of the scene. i cant believe youre getting all worked up about something that was written, recorded and released four years ago. the kids in your crew were fighting about this song long before you were cxc. before you go spouting your mouth off, check your facts, talk to your elders. youre just making an ass out of yourself.

look i don't know who the fuck you think you are but you better get your shit straight before you start to sing songs about people you don't even know. Just because you are in a band you think you can say what ever you fucking want. all this shit about salt lake city fuck salt lake city. You want to talk about thug core and how you see these kids who are cxc and sing shit about them well news flash smartass those kids you think your pissing off and standing up against in your scene are not who you think they are, and none of them are probably even cxc. So, the real kids you sing about live in ohio,chicago,indiana,new york,denver,Kentucky,texas,and new jersey. NOT SALT LAKE. We all have our own lives and most of us don't even go to shows anymore because we have real lives. We were straightedge when you thought it was stupid to label yourself and went threw that whole faze.
