GEM'S FIRST SHOW!!
The 4H show is over Kayla and Gem (out of our registered Percheron mare and by Quest) did a great job!! They placed 1st in the Draft under 1 year class! They showed in Grand and Reserve but didn't place :( of course we think they should have. In showmanship Kayla took a 3rd out of 8! They both did everything right only Kayla turned her the wrong way when going back into her spot, which was the right way for showing a draft but the judge didn't think so...and that is what she told Kayla. Gem was the talk of the show, people were trying to figure out what breed she was, no one could believe that Gem was only 4 months old and so well behaved and quite!!
