There's nothing quite the same as watching your first print develop under the safelight. It's a magical moment. Everyone should do it.
Recently, Black and White has become a specialty process. At least, that's what any 1 hour lab will tell you. Let's face it; the song lyrics should have been "nothing looks as good as black and white".
I almost walked out of a local reputable camera shop when they tried to sell TMAX 400CN to someone who asked for "Black and White" film because it was necessary for the classes on photography. Of course, I wouldn't ever get my film there anyway, because their prices on bulk film are about $20 a roll too high. (They charge list!)
