Microsoft Office Specialist-DISCONTINUED |

Microsoft has recently revised the name of its Microsoft Office certification program, formerly known as the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) program. The revision, which drops the use of the term “User,” was made in response to customer feedback that indicated the prior program name was too long, resulting in extensive use of the MOUS acronym. As a result customers lost the valuable association with the Microsoft Office name. The revised name, Microsoft Office Specialist, will make it easier for certified individuals to communicate their abilities with Microsoft Office to employers, co-workers, instructors, and others. The existing Microsoft Office User Specialist certifications remain valid as previously issued. |
