Banana Bread by Watchlady

1 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs well beaten
2-3 mashed ripe bananas

Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar gradually and continue beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with bananas, beating after each addition until smooth. Turn into well greased loaf pan.
Bake 350* about 1 hour and 10 min. or until done.
Yield-1 loaf

Pumpkin Bread by Judy L in Wisconsin

3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
1 can (16 oz) canned pumpkin
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
3-1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisens

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease and flour three 9-by-5-inch loaf pans. In large bowl, beat together sugar, oil, eggs, water and pumpkin. Add dry ingredients and stir to blend well. Pour into prepared loaf pans. Bake 1 hour, or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, turn out of pans and cool completely on wire rack. Wrap in foil or plastic wrap and store overnight before serving. Makes 3 loaves.

Banana Bread by Nadine in Wisconsin

Cream:
1/3 cup oleo
1 cup sugar

Add:
2 eggs, well beaten
3 tblsp sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
3 mashed bananas (1 to 1-1/2 cups)
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

350 oven for about 1 hour. Makes 1 loaf.
