Last Minute Salad by Judy L in Wisconsin
Mix together: 1 - 4 oz Cool Whip
1 - 8 oz. small curd cottage cheese
Fold in: 1 - 3 oz. orange jello (dry)
Then fold in: 1 can drained mandarin oranges
Ready to go!
You can also use other variations.....strawberry jello and strawberries, etc.
This makes a small amount so I usually double it; sometimes triple if we have a lot of people.
Speedy Fruit Salad by Judy L in Wisconsin
1 lb.sour cream
1 12oz Cool Whip
1 pkg. any flavor jello
2-4 cups of fruit, fresh or cannedUse only one type of fruit at a time. Match jello flavor to fruit, for example: fresh strawberries with strawberry jello, raspberries with raspberry jello, etc. Pineapple blends well with lime jello. It works very well with low calorie jello too. It can be mixed together and eaten right away, and keeps well in the refrigerator. If using canned fruit, drain extremely well.
