HREM-Studies of the microstructure of nanocrystalline Palladium

This paper describes the first HRTEM-studies on nanocrystalline materials. The grain boundary thickness in nanocrystalline Palladium was analyzed by tilting experiments. The value is about two unit cells, larger than in usual polycrystalline materials.
