On December 24th the year when the millennium was coming, a conversation appears in a Futoko high school located in Madison, Wisconsin-USA.

Miyuki is a seventeen-year-old Japanese teenage girl. Her name �gMiyuki�h means beauty of snow and her parents named her that because when she was born, she was paler than snow, but it made her filled with beauty too and it was a very snowy day when she was born�c Miyuki�fs also a mega big fan of the KinKi Kids. Almost everyday, she would wear different kinds of paperclips in her hair just to make herself unique and cool. Her childhood friend, Kindaichi is also an 18-year-old guy, 3 months older than Nanase. Hajime is not another huge fan of KinKi Kids, but he�fd just thought he might have nice nights with Miyuki in Japan. Miyuki is more like pro in everything, getting great scores on exams, etc., but Hajime�c Hajime�fs IQ is higher than 180, more than a regular person kind of like a genius. Although he has a high IQ, he has no interest into school, so�c He�fs last in grades.

A week later also known as December 31st, Miyuki and Hajime leaves on the plane, carrying not a lot of stuffs. Miyuki carries a cell phone, clothing, change and this package that her �gOkasan�h (means mother in Japanese) had given her all in her uni-triangular backpack. For Hajime, he was basically carrying the same stuffs except his mother hadn�ft given him any package.

�gOh, I�fm sorry.�h Said a girl who accidentally bumped into Hajime.

�gIt�fs ok. Hey, what�fs your name? Ah, you look so familiar, have I seen you somewhere?�h Hajime asked with a lot of curiosity in heart.

�gMy name is Yuka, from Japan. So I don�ft think I have ever seen you.�h Yuka replied.

�gHajime! We have to get going!�h Shouted Miyuki out loud with a bit of the word-�gjealous�h.

�gOk!�h Mr.Kindaichi replies then ignores Miyuki for some seconds. �gSo my name is Hajime, you can call me if you want at (608)-368-6686. Wait, so what�fs yours?�h

�gHajime!�h Miyuki interrupts him again.

Yuka is an eighteen-year-old girl who is now also planning to go to Japan. She is a great photographer so she decided to come to the USA to find more to her future. When she got on the plane, she sat across from Kindaichi.

�gAh, Yuka!�h Hajime yelled.

�gHey! Oh, sorry, I�fm kind of tired right now. But you want to take a picture of you and Miyuki?�h Yuka questioned.

While they were trying to take the picture, behind Miyuki and Hajime was a pair of �gcouples�h who kept on talking and talking, or at least the girl was�c

�gUm�c Can you guys be a little more�c�h Miyuki then suddenly spots the guy next to the female girl was this famous boxer and was super handsome.

�gOoh,�h She pulls Hajime up by his hair. �gHajime, talk to�c Oh yeah, hajimemashita. Watashi wa Nanase Miyuki desu.�h Points to Kindaichi and says, �gKindaichi Hajime desu. Anata wa?�h

�gHai, Watashi wa Tohko, Miura Tohko desu.�h The young woman at the age of 18 responded.

�gBoku wa Tokieda Yuji desu, hajimemashita.�h Famous boxer answered.

�gHajime, talk to Tohko san.�h Miyuki whispered, since she was trying to find a way to get near Yuji.

�gWhy? I�fm still talking to Yuka�c�h

�gGreat, well, you always wanted to talk more to girls and know about how women feels, talk to them two.�h

�gHey, how about Tohko and I switch seats?�h Miyuki suggested.

So there they were talking and talking, and then Miyuki detects Hajime was pretending he knew how to palm read and was touching Yuka�fs hand and so on�c

�gGreat! Hehe�c�h Tohko spoke as if she was finally freed.

After what seemed like hours, Kindaichi notices this lady around 20 wearing a white dress that went all the way to her knees with a creamy color top over it, going down on her knees. As what Kindaichi would always do-�e*PEEK* *PEEK*�f, followed by Yuji.

Suddenly a voice pops up, a 22 yr. Old guy.

�gYuki, what are you doing?�h

�gI�fm�c I�fm looking for the pearl necklace you had given me.�h Yuki replied.

�gNo, just forget about it. We can get a new one, but don�ft walk away by yourself. I�fm responsible for you.�h

�gNo, I can�ft forget about it. Natsuo, although it�fs not like $1,000, it was the 1st present you had given to me. Therefore I must treasure it. And now I�fve lost it-it won�ft be the same as before if we got a new one�c�h

Kindaichi walks up to them in a really cool way as if he is a model, modeling the clothes he is wearing, then stops and says,

�gI will help you guys find it. First of all, what�fs your phone no.? Hehe...�h

�gHajime! Find the necklace!�h Miyuki yells as if it�fs her necklace instead of Yuki�fs.

�gHai, gomenasai! So, where did you go and did you bump into any special people before you got to here?�h Hajime asks when he finally resumes.

�gWell, I just got a cup of water, in the fountain next to the bathroom then�c Yes, I remember, I bumped into this guy wearing a black leather jacket with his hair gelled.�h Yuki answers back.

�gOk, then now we should find him.�h

So there the group of four was, looking for Mr. Hair gelled guy.

�gAh, it�fs him over there!�h Yuki yells but in a really soft voice.

They walk up to him.

�gHi, we�fre wondering if you have this pearl necklace.�h

�gWell, are you saying that I might have taken this lady�fs necklace?�h Black leather jacket responds.

�gWhat makes you think that the necklace belongs to this lady?�h Kindaichi said.

�gWhen I was coming from the bathroom, I saw her wearing it and the sun was reflecting light off it, so I remembered, is that answer well enough?�h

�gAnd, umm�c I�fm wondering what that sparkling thing is that�fs in your pocket?�h Kindaichi shouts back in less then a second.

Tries to hide it, but fails, �gWhy�fd you steal this from her?�h

�gIt�fs not called a steal if you don�ft get caught, but since now I guess I did, then yeah, I did steal it, I�fm sorry.�h

�gNatsuo, lets go now�c We�fve got the necklace back already.�h The owner of the pearl says.

�gK, let�fs go then.�h Natsuo announces.

�gNo wait�c I want to stay here for some time.�h Miyuki utters.

�gMiyuki, you�fre just going to leave me there with Yuka?�h

�gShut up! I think he�fs also a KinKi Kids fans, �ecause I saw his luggage had this little eye popping out, like Tsuyoshi Doumoto�fs eyes on this fan I wanted so badly but never got.�h Whispered Miyuki.

�gHi, my name�fs Nanase Miyuki. Nice to meet you, are you a KinKi Kids Fan?�h Miyuki posed.

�gYo, my name�fs Ryu. Does being a KinKi Kids Fan have something to do with you?�h He thought back.

�gWell, um�c No, but I was just wondering where you got that fan over there.�h Miyuki asserts while pointing at the fan located where his luggage was.

Kindaichi mumbles softly that Ryu doesn�ft notice him saying so. For that, Miyuki elbowed him.

�gYeah, go take it.�h

�gYou don�ft seem so bad like you would steal stuffs. But why did you do that necklace incident?�h Miyuki requested.

�gWhy? Because I just did. There are no �ewhy�fs�h He countered back.
