January 23, 2001: Study hall is not so bad, now. When we go into the commons at 2:00, some freshman girls sit at the same table as I do. Two of them are not bad lookin.
January 22, 2001: ( ( Written in notebook in school ) ): It is 6th hour study hall right now. I thought last year's study hall was bad! I guess since it is the first day, it seems kinda sucky. All of my other classes went well. 1st and 2nd hour are the same as last semester. 3rd hour is english and that was
not too bad. 4th hour is health. I have Schampers, Duecker, Fenn, Joe, and Berghuis in my class. That was fun. Duecker told us he could not get his temps until he is 21 because he backed into someone doing 25mph. This was emphasized (as usual by Duecker) because a speedometer does not read going
backwards. 5th hour was the same. We are in the commons for 6th hour, now.
January 19, 2001: Dad took me to pick up temps today. He drove to the High School parking lot and I drove home from there. My only mistake: forgot to use blinker once. Woops! Had three finals today and none of them were as hard as I expected. Feeling a tad tired, but good right now.
With the semester at an end, I really have nothing to worry about. I will once the grades come in the mail, though!
January 18, 2001: Today I took my temps test in Driver's Ed and I passed with only 4 wrong. Everybody else in the class passed too. I pick them up tomorrow and then I can start driving! First day of finals today, but I only had 2. Tomorrow I have an Algebra, Gym, and English final.
I am getting pretty sick of school and just want summer vacation to start. Ahh....summer vacation....makes me feel good just thinking about it. I need a Coke.
ADDITION: Yesterday, Metallica bassist Jason Newsted left the band after fourteen great years. He will definitely be missed by both the band and the fans. He was always there to sign autographs and would look for people to sign autographs for! Overall, a great guy.
January 4, 2001: Well, I have not put in an entry for a long time...so it is definitely time for one. For Christmas I got the car stereo
that I wanted, some CDs, a lava lamp to add to my collection, this cool blue light, a lot of clothes, and some other things. Overall, an excellent Christmas...especially since I got to stay in Kenosha for a week. On Christmas night I went to my cousin's
house for a Christmas party and had an excellent time. After almost everyone had left, I went downstairs by the adults. My cousins followed. Watching my cousin Tiffany, after she had put a few down, was more entertaining than any TV show. I slept over and then went back
to my Grandparent's house the next day. My cousin Sammy came with me to sleepover there. The next night I slept over at the Counterman's (best friend's) house. We watched Scary Movie and Road Trip. Although I try to get to bed before 3 when I am over there, I am never successful.
It was still fun, though. The next day I went back to my Grandparents' house and stayed there for the rest of the week. My parents came down on Saturday. We went to a New Year's Eve party and left on Monday. Despite a few missing assignments in school, things are going pretty good
right now. One more thing....Driver's Ed starts on Monday! This ought to be interesting.
