June 23, 2001: Just finished making the first entry in my Marantz Log book. That's right, I finally have my dream receiver. Well, I do not
exactly have it. After a few unsuccessful bids, I finally won this Marantz. I am actually glad I lost the two others before it because it sounds like this one
was not used a whole lot and it includes the original owner's manual (cool)! I finally got a 2325...yes! I cannot wait until it gets here. Well, next weekend
I go to Kenosha (finally)! My cousin is having a graduation party. She is going to Steven's Point for college and plans to be a teacher (I think). Man time really flies.
Anyways, that same day the Countermans get back from Minnesota. Will probably ride up to the old hood and say hi to Nick. Then two weekends later I will be down there
again for my Uncle Dave and Aunt Shirley's housewarming. I thought about buyin a mixer from radio shack and DJing (using my new Marantz as the amp, of course). I think
it will be somewhat scaled down, though. Hmmm....anything else? Last night talked to Nick and Natalie. Nick had me play this joke on her friend Holly. I acted like someone she did not
like and Nick kept telling me how freaked out she was. We were like little school girls or something. Anyway I pussed out early because I felt guilty.
I thought she would hate me forvever, but she just said that it was not cool a few times. I said I was sorry and then we talked for awhile. She turned out to be really cool and she is a Pepsi freak
or somethin'. Kind of hope to see her one of these next times I go down there.
