March 4, 2001: Yesterday was my birthday. I started out the day by going over to the Gutsmiedls to show Doug how to get on the internet.
The computer could not find the hard drive, again (happened the night before)! I talked to a Gateway person (again) and actually had to go inside the computer.
What I did seemed to do the trick, for a little while anyway. I suggested to Doug to take the computer in. We disconnected everything. He set it on the kitchen counter upstairs,
but my Dad wanted to take a look at it. By tightening a plug a little bit, he fixed the computer! Well, that all happened over about 2 hours. I went home and opened my presents. I got
some munchies from my sister, a mini-fridge (WOW), and a video. Then my mom told me we were leaving for Kenosha in 10 minutes. I thought that was pretty cool. I had fun down there.
I got this cool bubble lamp from my Grandparents and my Aunt & Uncle. Kind of a tiring weekend I guess. About an hour ago I picked out a 5 disc DVD/CD Player and hope to get out to Best Buy to
purchase it soon.
