May 27, 2001: Once again, I have not made an entry in quite awhile so I will have a lot to say. Yesterday I took my Sansui apart for the
3rd or 4th time. The first time I took it apart was to just look at the inside. The second time was to look at a light bulb. Turned out it was just loose.
The third time was to see if there was a bad connection to the tuner needle. There was not, it just needs a new one. Good luck to me finding one of those.
This time was to look at 2 light bulbs. The night before I found 2 lights that I did not know were even there: The Power indicator and the FM Stereo indicator.
I left it apart because I needed to go to Radio Shack to get some new ones. That is where I went today. I put new bulbs in and the receiver looks great now. Now all
it needs is repair to the right channel and a new tuning needle. When I went to Radio Shack I also got a gold plated audio adapter for the back of the computer (no
more fiddling with RCA cables, yes)! And now the most important thing in my life right now: School is almost over! This coming week is my last week and is all finals.
I have tomorrow off for Memorial Day and then I start the final week Tuesday. Friday is my last day! I am so freakin' happy right now. Summer plans are to work on the Sansui
(more like get it worked on) and maybe work for my dad. Oh yeah, get my license too (July 17th)!
