<<< Handy Dandy Notebook: November 2002 >>>

November 10, 2002:

You know, there was a time when I had no problem coming online for hours on end and contributing to my website. Now it seems like a task instead of something fun to do. Now I only come online to talk to a few people, but I guess people actually look at my site and enjoy reading the notebook entries like this one. Because of this, I will try to start updating more and put in entries more often. Well, here is what has happened in the past month.

Towards the end of October we got some time off of school. We had a half day on a Wednesday and then Thursday and Friday off. As this vacation time neared, I decided it would be a great time to go to Kenosha. Thankfully my parents accepted the idea, but I had to take my sister with (oh well). We left Thursday morning and got into town a little before noon. Luckily I remembered that Kevin Matthews would be on so I flipped to WCKG. Shortly after that we arrived at the Counterman house, but Nick and Krystal were just waking up, so I decided to stop at my Grandparents. I eventually made it back over to Nick's after dropping my sister off at Melissa's house. We hung out for the rest of the day. That night when we were cruising around I decided to see if Annie wanted to ride with us since she had called me eariler. She accepted the offer and we picked her up as well as Nasty Nate. Then we went to Jenna's, then Jessie's. That was the night right there. The next night Nick had to work, so I went to a haunted house with Annie, Jessie, and Jenna. It was lame, but still fun. Nick called as we were leaving and said he was out of work, so I picked him up. We cruised around with the girls for the rest of the night. We went and saw the Regal, did some unexpected mudding with the New Yorker, went to Culvers, and then Target. Once I dropped the girls off, I took Nick home. When I got back to my grandparents, one of my hubcaps was missing. I backtracked the next day, but did not see it. Even thought I lost one of my bling blingin' hubcaps, that night was probably the best time I have ever had in Kenosha. On Saturday Nick did not have to work until 7. Once he did, I went back to my grandparents. Eventually boredom got to me so I decided to stop at Annie's house to see what was up. Her and Jessie were there, so my sister and I hung out with them. Nick called a little before curfew so I went to his house to spend the night. We got bored so we went on a little late night cruise which was pretty fun. That ends the Kenosha visit.

The next weekend (last weekend) I finally met up with Jenn whom I have been talking to for quite some time. We didn't talk a heck of a whole lot, but it was the first time we met. My sister was with us and she did a lot of talking (no surprise). We went to Media Play, the mall, some pet store, and then just cruised around. It was really good to see her in person.

And finally, yesterday my Uncle Brian came up to visit. My parents and I took him to the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame and then to the Stadium View for lunch. I got to see the renovated Lambeau Field in person for the first time. It looks absoloutely amazing. My uncle stayed today for most of the game (which we won by the way, 40 to 14). So, these past few weekends have been pretty fun. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: On Tuesday my mom said that some guy at her work had a pair of speakers for sale. They were Klipsch Heresy II's and some of the guys over at AudioKarma.org encouraged me to get them. They were a pretty good bargain at $200 and sound fantastic. So, with the good weekends and the new old speakers, I am pretty happy. And I can say with confidence that this is probably my longest notebook entry ever. If you read the whole thing, thanks.
