The Dark Angel
By: Tina

The dark shadow that drifts beyond,
and takes them in it's pall,
you can not run and you can not hide,
as death comes to us all,
With a glinting flash of curv'ed blade,
reaping lives like corn,
they maybe think that they're too young,
but they're ready before they're born,
the eyeless skull sees only death,
and those about to die,
it heeds not to the weeping crowds,
or the orisons they cry,
They turn their heads as he walks by,
and genuflect and pray,
but religion saves none from his eye,
with your life you will pay,
The only money he recieves,
blocks out the sight of death,
or stills the tongue with metal,
the bodies with no breath,
He walks the clouds as always,
so run my children do,
and do not look into his eyes,
or he will reapeth you!
