These people sure seem excited to have me living with them. They said they hope I don't grow into a monster, and then they both smiled at me, because they know I don't know what a "monster" is. Mom explained that a "monster" just meant that I might be spoiled silly because they are both kind of old and silly, and since both of their real chiildren are grown up, I'm their "baby". It's going to be a job for me, not letting myself get all spoiled with all this attention!
Right now, I'm going to have to explore things here at my new home. There sure are lots of things to see and do! There are four great big tanks of water that have some kind of funny looking puppies swimming around in them. My new mom says they aren't puppies, they're tropical fish. I think they are puppies, because right now, everything is a puppy to me... well, that is except my new mom and dad. They are pretty tall to be puppies. Hmmm, they must be something else. I'll find out, and then we'll all know!
Meanwhile, if you'd like to look around while you're here, I'd like that.
The only rules are:
1. Don't chew on anything valuable.
2. Don't piddle on the floor.
3. Try to stay out of any serious trouble.
4. Enjoy being a puppy.
As soon as I get my new parents trained, mom says she will help me write down some of my thoughts about growing up, and I have some pictures on here so you can see what I look like. (Mom says I am probably the cutest Chocolab puppy on earth....)

See, the rules aren't so bad, are they? I'm going to try my hardest to live up to them. My new mom says that sometimes it's pretty difficult to live up to all the rules, but we're all going to work on this puppyhood thing, because she tells me that it's the most wonderful thing there is. Now I'm not sure if she meant being a puppy, or watching me grow up. Guess we'll all find out, won't we? But for the time being, I am very glad that I chose these people, and don't tell anyone else, but I kind of think they're glad that I chose them too!
