The Teardrop
The teardrop is a symbol,
Of my love for you,
Even though it may mean
sadness,
I’m sure I can explain.
The teardrop drops off my
face,
As you fall deeper into my
heart,
It creates a puddle of faith
Which never dries up.
The puddle comforts me;
Through harsh and
wretched times,
Even when I’m lonely,
The teardrop fills my mind.
From the puddle a lake is
created,
a lake that surrounds my
soul,
I fee you always near me
The will not accept
pollution.
With this teardrop, my
world is created,
a world with love, not
hate
as I look into your eyes,
another teardrop drops
from my face.
