Metal Gear Solid 2 set for release in North America this year

Konami clears up Metal Gear Solid 2 delay rumors. Konami announced today that Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the PlayStation 2 will be released in the fall of 2001 in North America. Rumors have suggested that the highly anticipated sequel may be delayed until 2002. Metal Gear Solid 2 is the sequel to the popular espionage simulation that was released for the PlayStation in 1998.
