"I'm proud of you" Nick exclaimed. Josie laughed.
"Why?" Josie asked.
"Well, In like 20 minutes you're going to face your dad and tell him you wish him and becky luck" Nick replied. Josie sighed.
"I dunno" Josie replied. Nick lifted her head up with his finger. They had flown into Chicago and were in a limo heading towards Josie's dad's reception.
"Whats the matter with Becky?" Nick asked.
"I never got to say good-bye to my real mom" Josie commented. "I never got to tell her I loved her, I never appreciated her until she was gone. Same was with my step-mom, I yelled at her the night she died in a car crash. I never got to tell her I was sorry for going out and getting drunk with my friends. I never got to tell her I was the one that broke her favorite vase, not my dad. I never got to say good-bye"
"Thats the way life works Josie. I never appreciated just sitting at home by myself until I couldnt even go outside without getting followed by a millions people. You never know what you have until it's gone" Nick explained.
"But that's it Nick. I cant take losing someone else again. I can't live with another person who I hated and despised on the outside but loved them more than anything inside" Josie replied.
"Well, since you hate Becky on the inside and the out....I think you'll be fine" Nick replied. Josie laughed.
"It was real nice" Nick exclaimed. Becky hugged him.
"Too bad Josie doesn't feel the same way" Becky replied.
"She has a good reason for not coming to the wedding, you see, it was my fault. My friend was getting married, even though she really wanted to come" Nick lied. Becky smiled and walked away from him.
"This is the 3rd time I'm getting married, I'm getting too old for this" Josie's dad joked. Melissa smiled.
"I havent seen Josie all night" Melissa exclaimed.
"She's in the bathroom, at least, that's what Nick told me" Josie's dad replied. Becky came over and they walked away, going to dance. Melissa walking into the bathroom to see Josie sitting on a couch.
"Wow, you look like you're having fun" Melissa commented.
"yea" Josie replied.
"So, How's Nick in the sack, everything I've ever dreamed of?" Melissa asked.
"All that and more" Josie replied. Melissa walked over and sat next to her. "You Melissa, you're knocked up"
"I know" Melissa replied.
"Did you fall or something?" Josie asked. Melissa had a few black and blue marks on her face.
"I meant ya...I'm knocked up Josie..Meaning I'm pregnant" Melissa replied. Josie coughed.
"Who?"
"I dont know who the father is, I think this guy I met last week" Melissa replied. "That's why I didnt meet you in Florida, that's why I canceled"
"Oh my god" Josie replied. She hugged Melissa. "I thought i had problems"
"Becky really wants to make it work" Melissa explained. Josie sighed. She got up and walked out of the bathroom leaving Melissa sitting by herself.
"This is the second time I need to make this speech, so I'll keep it short" Josie started. "My dad has always been there for me, always helped me out and the thought of him getting married again isnt something I was too happy about. But, If he were to marry anyone...I would certainly want it to be Becky. I can't wait to make you and you're son and daughter a part of my family"
"That was great" Becky exclaimed. Josie spun around. She was sitting in the bathroom again practicing her speech for the dinner. Josie smiled.
"Hey Becky" Josie exclaimed.
"I wouldnt mind if you wanted to call me Mom" becky replied.
"I'm 21 and YOU arent my mom" Josie replied. She sighed. "You'd think by my dad's 3rd wedding I'd be used to him getting remarried"
"You'll be away with Nick, you won't see me anyway" Becky commented. "He likes you a lot you know...When's your wedding?"
"HA" Josie exclaimed. "Never"
"Well, I gotta go-I'll see you soon" Becky replied. Josie sighed.
"They're alot better then you" Josie commented. Nick and Josie sat in the hotel room watching Making the video with Nto+ther.
"No way" Nick replied.
"A lot funnier. You should make a funny video. Nsync is #1 on TRL because they're videos are funny-You're are lame" Josie commented.
"I love you too" Nick replied.
"You know..If we ever break up I'm stealing your stuff" Josie explained.
"KLEPTOMANIC" Nick sang with the video. Josie laughed.
"They sing better too" Josie replied. The video was over and Chad came on.
"Eminems might come get me. Doug says he won't but I know he will. He's probably here now. He has white hair like..the devil" Chad explained. Josie laughed.
"He's so cute" Josie yelled. Nick wrapped his arm around her waist.
"I'm alot cuter" Nick commented. Josie shook her head.
"He has humor and looks on you Carter..I'd be very careful...He might steal me from you" Josie joked. Nick leaned over and started to pull off her tank top.
"Not if I can help it" Nick explained. Josie laughed as he trailed kisses over her bare stomach.
