Chapter 11

"Ms. Brooks?" Joseph Kahn asked.

"Yea" She replied. She was in the office of Hampton high. BJ was sitting next to her reapplying her make-up.

"MTV wants to do a Making the Video with this video-This is like a last minute things I guess since Britney couldn't do it at the last minute-Is that OK?" He asked.

"Sure-and call me Faith" Faith replied.

"We'll start right away then-Here's a folder of all the models that will be in the LA area while we're shooting-Pick 6 you want" He explained. Faith nodded.

"We'll have 4 guys and 4 girls right?" Faith asked BJ.

"I think" She replied. BJ and Faith were going to the main people in the video. Joseph had explained to them the concept. It was quite simple. 4 Cheerleaders singing while their boyfriends played a football game. They were getting a lot of extras-Mostly fans to sit in the stands and scream.

"He's a hottie" BJ exclaimed. It was a built brunette with bright baby blue eyes. Faith smiled.

"Yea-He's definately a yes" Faith replied. They decided on 2 built blondes and 1 black hair guy. 2 of the real cheerleaders at the school were going to be cheerleaders along with Faith and BJ. MTV came into to the room while they were picking out models.

"Hey MTV-I'm Faith" She exclaimed.

"I'm BJ" BJ exclaimed. Faith laughed.

"Having that name must've really sucked growing up" Faith joked.

"Nah-I got all the guys that way" BJ joked.

"Turn on some TV-Britney is gonna be on" Tom demanded. Jeff switched the TV on. Faith popped up on screen.

"Carter-Your woman's on TV" Mark yelled. Nick came into the living room with a six pack of beer. He set it down and watched BJ and Faith make corny jokes as they went through pictures of models.

"What's this?" Nick asked.

"Its said Making The Video with Faith Brooks" Mark replied. "I thought it was suppose to be Britney"

"She probably canceled" Tom explained. "Where is Faith anyway?"

"She went to visit her grandma in England" Nick exclaimed.

"Shut Up-I wanna hear" Jeff snapped.

"So-Faith-Your Engaged to Nick Carter of the BSB?" The camera man asked.

"Yep-I would show you my ring-but since I'm suppose to be a high school cheerleader they asked me to take it off" Faith explained. Faith walked off the screen and when they came back from commercial BJ and Faith were standing on Hampton High's Football field in tiny outfits.

"Don't you wish your cheerleaders wore these outfits in High school?" Faith joked, turning around to show off the skirt about 6 inches about the knee and the top that had a really low top. "In the Video-My boyfriend is cheating on me with BJ. We get mad-yell, scream-The usual"

"These hotties next to us are suppose to be out men in the video" BJ exclaimed. "The blonde's mine and the brunette is Faith's"

"He's hot-But he's got nothing on Nick" Faith joked.

Faith's Taxi pulled up to Nick's house. She grabbed her bag's out of the trunk and paid the taxi driver. Her month with Nick was over in 3 days. She kind of dreaded it, she'd actually enjoyed spending time with him. Faith grabbed her bag's and walked to the front door. There was a post-it note stuck to the front door.

Faith-

I had to go and run some arrands. I'll be home later-Sorry I couldn't meet you at the airport.

Nick

P.S-I got you something-I left it upstairs in my bedroom.

"Ohhh...A present" Faith exclaimed. She opened the door and dropped her bags on the floor. Faith walked upstairs and opened Nick's door. She heard the shower running. Faith walked into his bathroom and laughed.

"This is my present?" She asked. She batted away the steam. She heard the shower door opened.

"Faith?" Jeff asked. Faith whipped around quickly.

"Sorry" Faith exclaimed.

"That's fine-Could you just hand me a towel?" Jeff asked. Faith walked over to the wall and grabbed a towel. She walked over by him and handed it to him, with her back towards him. She thought a second. Nick knew she liked Jeff-Maybe he wanted her to see him-He was conviently gone running arrands. Faith smiled and turned around.

"Nick said I could use his shower since the stupid Land Lord of my building is cheap and shut off all the hot water" Jeff explained.

"That sucks" Faith replied. Jeff smiled at her. She looked at him with wandering eyes. He was thinking she wanted him, but to make sure he leaned in and kissed her. When she didn't pull away, Jeff pressed her against the bathroom counter. Faith dropped his towel from his waist. Jeff pulled the zipper down off her jeans. He moved her from the counter and into the bedroom. He pressed her onto the bed and kissed her forcefully.

"You sure you want to do this?" Jeff asked. Faith smiled.

"Positive" She replied.

"Faith?" Nick yelled.

"Up here" She replied. Nick walked in to see Faith lying on the bed in her bra and underwear.

"HELLO" Nick joked. "I'm guessing you liked the necklace?"

"huh?" Faith asked. Nick walked to the dresser and grabbed a wrapped present from the top of it.

"I wrote on the note I had a present for you" Nick exclaimed. He walked over and laid next to her on the bed. He handed her the present. Faith opened it up and smiled.

"Nick, it's so beautiful, I really can't accept this" Faith exclaimed. She felt like shit. She'd never actually looked for a gift-She'd thought Jeff was.......Faith stopped thinking and looked into Nick's eyes. "Nick, Listen, In 3 days I'll be gone-I can't take this-It's too expensive"

"I wanted to talk to you about that" Nick replied.

"What?" She asked.

"Could we maybe go for like another month? I really want people to believe this and the guys are still talking about breaking up the group" Nick explained.

"No Nick-If we go on any longer your family will be devastated when we break-up. I wanna keep this as pain free as possible" Faith explained. Nick nodded.

"That's fine-I was just wondering" Nick replied. He laid back on the bed.

"So what did you do since you got here?" Nick asked. Faith looked at him, speechless.
