Nick sighed. He sat in his seat at the Grammy’s. They’d been nominated twice and lose both times. Nick noticed that he seemed to be the only person who cared. The guys just talked with their wives. Nick stood up and walked out of the auditorium and towards the back. He walked towards his dressing room and decided instead to go to the bar.
“Thank You” Faith Brooks exclaimed. She walked off stage and towards the bar. She was the biggest entertainment artist everywhere except the U.S. She was from England and had already played every country. She finally was to America. She walked over to a blonde that was at the bar.
“Manhattan” She ordered. She looked over at the guy next to her.
“Nick Carter?” She asked. He nodded. “What’s wrong? Shouldn’t you be out there? The after party usually comes AFTER the show”
“Nothing’s wrong-And thanks for pointing that out” Nick replied.
“You look like you just got dumped. Whenever I get dumped and I hate all guys-I think about something good about them and it makes me feel better. Like, Some guys can belch so sexy-I love it” She explained. Nick took his drink and belched. They both laughed a little.
“I wasn’t dumped-The group I’m in, BSB, is breaking up” Nick explained. She gave him a half smile.
“I’m sorry-May I ask why?” She questioned.
“They’re all married and wanna start a family I guess. They don’t feel I’m having as much fun as I used to have” He replied. She smiled.
“Well, You should just go and get married like them” Faith joked. Nick didn’t laugh. “Nick?”
“You have a point there” He replied. Faith smiled wearily.
“I was just kidding” Faith replied. Nick smirked.
“Thanks for the talk-You helped me a lot. Who are you?” He asked.
“Faith Brooks” She replied. Nick gave her a confused glance. “I’m like the Britney Spears of Europe”
“Oh. Good Luck with your career” Nick replied.
“Where’d you go?” AJ asked. Nick sat in his seat.
“To talk with my girlfriend” Nick replied. AJ looked surprised.
“Since when you get a women?” He asked.
“We’ve been friends since I was like 14” Nick replied. “I just haven’t seen her in awhile”
“What’s her name?” He asked.
“Faith Brooks” Nick replied. AJ gave him a funny look.
“You’re going out with that hot chick that just sang?” He asked.
“Yea” Nick replied. “What’s so wrong with that? Don’t think I could get a hot chick?”
“Oh I do Nick. I just think if you did you’d wave it around in our faces” AJ replied with a grin.
