CHAPTER 4

"You sure you're OK with this?" Nick asked. Faith smirked.

"I can assure you that I've been in bed with many strange men in my life" Faith replied.

"Get around?" Nick asked.

"Excuse Me?" Faith questioned.

"Well, I just assumed..." Nick started.

"When you assume you make an ASS of U and ME" Faith explained. Nick smirked.

"Very Creative-I mean you a player?" He asked.

"No-I just have had many one night stands in the past" She replied. Faith fell onto Nick's waterbed. She curled into a little ball.

"I could sleep on the couch" Nick offered.

"And Brian could come in and see you-That would be great" She replied. Nick sighed. He walked over and laid next to her. Faith faced the wall and turned her back to him. Nick stared at her back. He turned the lights off so that the neon light only glowed. Faith heard footsteps coming towards the door. She quickly turned around and pressed her lips onto Nick's. He was taken off guard but placed his hands on her waist. He felt the warmth of her skin against his body. The bedroom door opened and Brian walked in. He saw them and stopped.

"My Bad" Brian exclaimed. He closed the door quick. Faith pulled away.

"That was nice" Nick explained. Faith snorted.

"I sensed he didn't believe this whole Engagment thing-In fact none of the guys did. I guess we just gotta act more into eachother" Faith explained. Nick smirked, giving her a chessy grin.

"I have no problem with that" He replied.

"Nick" Faith whispered. Nick turned around and yawned. He could smell pancakes. He opened his eyes. Faith had a tray full of food in front of him.

"Breakfast in bed? For me?" He asked. Faith laughed.

"Hell no-I made this for myself" Faith replied. Nick gave her a puppy face. "Yea I made it for you"

"Thanks a lot" He replied. Faith smiled.

"The guys are going to some private beach and invited me along-I said sure-Is that OK?" She asked.

"Yea-It's cool" Nick replied. She smiled.

"I'm just gonna go take a shower before we go. Also, can we stop for a suit? I wanna look good" Faith asked.

"Of Course" Nick replied. He looked down and digged into his food.

"You like?" Faith asked. Nick shook his head no.

"You're suppose to be my fiancee. Not trying to give one of my friends a boner" Nick replied. Faith rolled her eyes. She pulled off the tiny blue string bikini. She grabbed a yellow bikini and put it on.

"This?" She asked.

"That's good" Nick replied. She smiled. She took the blue string bikini to the counter and Nick paid for it. She ran into the bathroom of the store and put it on with some shorts over it. When she came out Nick gave her a funny look.

"Was that the one you just had on?" He asked. "I thought there was more to it."

"No this is it" She replied. Of course, that was a lie. She'd bought the skankier of the 2.

"One of you beautiful ladies are going to come swimming with me" AJ demanded. Amanda and Faith kept their eyes closed as they tried to get a tan.

"It's too cold" Faith whined. AJ gave her a big grin.

"Stand up" AJ instructed. Faith shook her head no.

"Stand Up" He commanded. Faith sighed and stood up.

"What do you want now?" She asked. AJ leaned down and wrapped his arms around her body. He flung her over his shoulder. Faith screamed. Nick had been by a vender getting some drinks and flirting with 2 blondes when he saw AJ and Faith. He left the 2 women and walked down the beach with some sodas and beer.

"Nick Help" Faith yelled. Before Nick could respond AJ flung her into the cold ocean water. Faith swallowed the salty water and coughed.

"Jerk" She muttered. AJ was laughing his ass off. Faith stood up and pushed him into the water. Once he'd fallen into the water she dunked his head under. He came up and splashed her. Amanda sat on shore rolling her eyes.

"He finally found someone more childish then Nick to screw around with" Amanda joked. Nick walked up behind her with a hurt look on his face.

"I heard that" Nick commented.

"I Think it's time for me to get out" AJ explained.

"Why?" Faith asked. She was having a great time splashing around with AJ in the water.

"I'm getting all pruny" AJ complained, holding his fingers up. Faith smiled. She looked up the beach to see Wave Runner rentals. Faith's eyes lit up.

"Let's rent those" Faith suggested. She pointed to the Rental shop. AJ looked over and smiled. He got out of the water and walked up the beach. Faith followed behind him. Nick was off somewhere else.

"Can I see your ring?" Amanda asked.

"I left it at home" Faith lied.

"You took it off?" She asked.

"It's kinda big for my finger and since we were swimming I didn't want to loose it" Faith replied. Amanda nodded, not really believing her. She knew Nick could forget things-He probably never gave her one. Amanda felt sorry for Faith. Nick had been off with 2 blondes most of the afternoon, Faith hadn't seemed to notice being with AJ and all.

"Where's Nick?" AJ asked.

"I don't know-He just left somewhere" Amanda replied. AJ looked up the beach. He thought he saw Nick with 2 ladies. AJ sighed.

"He always wanders off" AJ replied. He looked over at Faith.

"You wanna rent those wave runners now?" He asked.

"I think we should wait for Nick" Faith replied. AJ agreed with her and went to get Amanda a soda.

When AJ was out of sight of the girls he turned away from the venders and walked towards Nick.

"CARTER" He yelled. Nick looked up and waved. He walked over. The girls smiled at him.

"AJ this is Jenny and Julie" He introduced. AJ smiled at them.

"I gotta talk to you" AJ replied. Nick said good-bye and walked with AJ.

"What's up?" He asked.

"You do know your fiancee is sitting over there" AJ explained.

"Yea...." Nick replied. "Point?"

"Nick-You're flirting with 2 women when you have a practically naked beautiful fiancee waiting for you on the beach. Does that not sound weird to you?" AJ asked.

"Well-You guys looked like you were having fun" Nick replied. "So I decided I would too"

"Well, You have a fiancee Nick-You can't go flirting with every single girl you see" AJ explained.

"I know Bone" Nick replied. Faith saw him and waved. She started to walk towards him.

"Where'd you go?" Faith asked.

"I saw some fans so we talked" Nick replied. Faith gave him a disappointed grin.

"Oh" She replied. "You wanna rent some wave runners?"

"Sounds good" Nick replied. He put his arm around Faith's waist and walked her back towards their towels. AJ walked behind them. He saw the disappointment on Faith's face. He had a feeling their marriage would never last long.

"NICK!" Faith screamed as he drove the wave runner as fast as it could go. She clung to his body and closed her eyes. Brian, Leigh, Kev, Kristin and Howie decided to go home. Brian and Leigh had a flight back to Georgia at 3 and Kev and Kristin had one to Kentucky at the same time. So, Faith, Nick ,AJ and Amanda took the wave runners out. AJ and Amanda were way behind them. Nick loved speed, Faith hated it. She closed her eyes tighter. She felt her arms starting to slip from his body and before she could tell Nick the wind flew her off the back of the machine.
