Brian yawned as he stretched out on his bed. He looked over at Megan's side of the bed and noticed she was already gone. Brian got up and walked downstairs, seeing Megan and Jason.
"Morning" He exclaimed.
"Hi Daddy-Are you coming to my game?" Jason questioned.
"Game?" He questioned.
"Yea-My baseball game-It's at noon. After that. me and mommy are going on a picnic" Jason exclaimed. He looked down at the cereal he was eating. "I'm gonna go get ready"
"Why did you tell all this to me?" Brian asked.
"YOu never asked" Megan replied, taking the Jason's bowl to the sink.
"You know, It's going to take me some time to get used to everything around here and I'd appreciate it if you'd help a little" Brian explained. He walked over and kissed her, moving his arms around her body, then slowly down her back. Megan moved away.
"You've been away on tour for a year Brian, It's going to take me some time to get used to everything too"
"Like what?" He asked.
"Like being close and being touched by you again. I've been on my own a year ya know. I keep a schedule of stuff to do everyday on the fridge-Just check there and you'll know what I have planned" Megan exclaimed, walking away. Brian walked to the fridge.
"Jason's little league at noon, Picnic at 2-Work out at gym at 5" Brian read. He shrugged and ran upstairs to get ready.
Brian invited AJ and Nick to Jason's game since they were in town. They were sitting on the first blecher, waiting for Jason to bat. They saw him walk up to the plate.
"Go Jason" Brian screamed. Megan screamed. Nick and AJ whistled loudly. Jason hit one to 3rd base. The kid at 3rd had a hard time catching the ball, so he dropped it a couple times. Jason got to 2nd before the kid finally threw the ball.
"GO JASON" Megan yelled. Jason looked up and waved frantically at all of them. The next kid up struck out, leaving Jason's team with 3 outs. Jason walked towards the dugout.
"That sucks-Jason's the only good player on the team" Nick commented. A few parents behind him glared at Nick. Nick and AJ got up to go get some food.
"Megan?" A woman asked. Megan turned around.
"Yea?" She asked.
"I'm Patrick's mom" She exclaimed. Megan smiled, even though Jason's best friend was Pat, Megan thought the kid was a brat.
"Hi" She exclaimed.
"Well, we've had a couple parties, where we invite all the boys and their dads. I ask Jason to come, but he tells me his dad is always gone. Now, your here with 3 guys and I was just wondering..." She exclaimed. Megan cut her off.
"You know Lady, You should mind your own business-but if you do need to know. Jason's father has a job where he's gone months at a time" Megan exclaimed. The lady nodded, not believing a word she said. Brian turned his attention from the game.
"Hi" Brian exclaimed.
"Who are you?" The lady asked.
"Jason's dad" Brian replied. The lady looked over at Megan.
"Are you two divorced?" The woman asked.
"That's really none of your business" Brian replied. "But no, we aren't"
"I see-we're having a party with the boys and their dad's at Pizza Hut around 5-You are going to be there?" She asked.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world" Brian replied.
"What a bitch" Megan muttered. Brian looked over at her while he drove to a forest.
"Nah, she's just nosy" Brian replied.
"No Brian. She hates me. Did you hear her? She was trying to say that out of 3 guys ONE of them must be Jason's father. She knows I was a model-She rubs it in EVERYTIME that she hasn't seen me in any magazines whenever she comes over. I hate her" Megan explained.
"Hates a strong word" Brian replied.
"Don't tell me any godly crap right now Brian" Megan snapped. Brian sighed and drove in silence. After 5 minutes, Megan sighed.
"I'm sorry-I didn't mean it" Megan replied.
"I know. Listen, don't worry about her, after that party tonight, everyone is going to see that I'm jason's dad and they'll stop buggin' ya" Brian exclaimed. Megan looked back to see Jason playing with a gameboy, wearing headphones. Megan smiled and faced the road.
"Jason?" Megan yelled, looking around the forest where they'd eaten their picnic. Brian and Jason had gone for a walk over an hour ago and she was getting worried. "Brian?"
"AHHHH" Brian yelled, wrapping his arms around her waist. Megan left out a scream then slapped brian on the arm.
"You jerk" Megan yelled. Jason fell on the ground laughing. "Oh, You think that's funny?"
"Yea" Jason replied, nodding. Megan ran towards him and fell on her knees, tickling him. Jason screamed and screamed. Megan stopped and fell onto a sheet they had laid out to eat on. Brian laid next to her, looking up at the sky.
"Is not being married a problem for you?" Brian asked.
"No-Why?" Megan asked.
"I was just thinking, this whole situation would be better if I'd asked you to marry me 5 years ago instead of letting you get away from me" Brian exclaimed.
"Get away from you?" Megan asked.
"Megs, I can't even touch you without you getting uncomfortable, We've drifted away from eachother" Brian replied.
"No Bri, We just have to get back into the swing of things-It'll be fine" Megan replied. Brian nodded and looked over at Jason.
"He must've been tired" Brian exclaimed, noticing Jason had fallen asleep. Brian looked at Megan and brought his face to hers. He pressed his lips to hers, letting his tounge slide into her mouth. Megan thought about her situation. She had a five year old son, was in a relationship with a guy who THOUGHT he was the father of her son, was practically ruining Brian's life, didn't know where her son's real dad was and was cheating on Brian. She was a bitch. Megan went along with Brian's kisses until he pulled away. Megan smiled up at him. He put his hand to her face then stood up.
"We better get going-I have a Pizza Hut party to go to" Brian exclaimed. Megan smiled.
Brian dropped their picnic stuff on the floor as the phone rang. He ran to it.
"Hello?" Brian asked.
"Is Megan there?" A guy asked.
"Yea-Can I ask whose calling?" Brian asked.
"Mark" The guy replied.
"Megs-Someone named Mark is on the phone" Brian yelled. Megan walked to the phone and took it quickly.
"Hello?" Megan asked.
"Hey Babe-Was that your man?" Mark asked.
"Yea-What's up?" Megan asked.
"You still coming over here at 5?" Mark asked.
"Yea" Megan replied. She hun up and turned around to see Brian eyeing her. Megan smiled and walked over to him, kissing him quickly.
"Let's go get ready" She exclaimed. Brian smiled and followed her upstairs.
