Both the Appleton-Oshkosh and Green Bay ratings came out today. I am not going to post them here for legal reasons and all of that, but I will at least summarize what the book was like for both markets. In Appleton, WNCY is still on top but dropped almost 3 points. Fellow midwest stations WIXX, WROE, and WOZZ follow. WAPL is down to 5th place behind competitor WOZZ. Looks like some trouble for APL. WKSZ dropped more than a point probably due to the new competition from WLYD (WILD 99.7).
As far as Green Bay goes, WNCY and WIXX are still on top with WOGB and WQLH tying for 3rd place. The newcomer to the top 5 is Green Bay's new Rhythmic CHR WLYD (WILD 99.7) which took 5th place. The station is only about a year old but has already gained a lot of ground. Looks like KISS could be in trouble. WAPL dropped 2 points to come in at 10th place, tied with competitor WXWX (The Fox). WZOR (Razor 94.7) was right behind.
To summarize, Midwest is definitely the winner in this book. Woodward needs to do something about KISS and veteran WAPL before their ratings drop even more. If you really want to see the ratings, you can check All Access or WBP's Northeast Wisconsin forum.
