“You lied to me?” Nicole asked Nick. Nick gave Nicole a look.
“I had to, I’ve liked you ever since I saw you again, you know, at AJ’s house? How was I suppose to tell you this?” Nick questioned.
“Nick, the truth hurts, but does that give you any right to lie to me?” Nicole asked. Nick sat still, afraid to make eye contact with someone he cared for. When Nick didn’t answer Nicole opened the car door and stepped out.
“See you inside” Nicole mumbled, picking Devon up.
“Where’s my ‘lil girl?” Katie asked. Kelly gave Katie a strange look and walked over by Mrs. Carter.
“She probably doesn’t remember you” Jane Carter replied, giving Katie a sympathetic look. The door opened and Nicole walked in, Katie started to walk towards her but Nicole brushed her off, going to sit by the couch. Nick walked in a few seconds later, smiling at Katie.
“She doesn’t even remember her own mom” Katie snapped.
“Well, maybe if you wouldn’t have let me take her, she would remember you” Nick replied.
“What’s Nicole doing here?” Katie asked, changing the subject.
“Nicole and I started dating” Nick replied.
“When?” Katie asked.
“20 minutes ago” Nick replied. Katie laughed quietly and walked towards Nicole.
“Trust me girl, he isn’t good in bed, I’d stick with Brian” Katie laughed. Nicole turned around from where she was sitting.
“How’s my dog?” Nicole asked. (Remember: Brian gave Nicole a dog and when she left she made Katie take care of it...Its been awhile-Maybe’s ya’ll forgot)
“Your dog? After 3 years, I started calling him my dog, so I got rid of him” Katie replied.
“What?” Nicole asked.
“You sure wanted him, You didn’t even come get him, Its been 5 years! Besides, he’s with a good family” Katie replied. “Where’s Brian?”
“With his new girlfriend” Nicole mumbled.
“And your with Nick? How sweet” Katie replied sarcasticly.
“Your jealous” Nicole laughed.
“You want to hear what my life has been like? When you left, Krissie left the apartment to me, I didn’t have enough money to pay for it so I had to leave, that was 2 months before I had Kelly, so I went to FL, gave Nick his kid and left to Cali” Katie replied.
“You sure must care about Kelly” Nicole joked.
“And you must really care about Brian, going out with his best friend, what the ‘lil slut you are” Katie replied.
“You’re right!” Nicole replied standing up. Brian walked in with Gina and the other guys just then.
“Right about what?” Katie asked.
“I don’t care about Brian, he has his life, I have mine and that’s it, The love I still had with him totally went away when I found out he doesn’t give a shit about me either, he ignores everyday and whenever he has the chance he walks in on things he doesn’t need to hear or see!” Nicole yelled.
“Like now?” Katie asked. Nicole whirled around and saw everyone staring at her.
“Devon open up!” Nick yelled. Devon locked himself into the bathroom when Nicole and Brian had gone outside to talk. Even through the sound proof door you could hear every word they said. Nick blamed himself, but soon he went after Devon when he had ran upstairs from hearing his parents fighting.
“My mommy hates my daddy!” Devon screamed.
“That’s not true” Nick replied.
“Yes it is, They yelled at eachother!” Devon replied. Gina ran up the stairs a few seconds later with the keys to the bathroom, Nick opened the door and walked inside.
“Come on Devon, let’s go downstairs” Nick suggested.
“I want my daddy” Devon replied. Nick picked up Devon and walked downstairs, Jane and the rest of the family were outside with Kelly, he set Devon down and Devon ran outside too. Meanwhile, AJ his g/f Angie, Katie, Nicole, Brian and Gina sat in the living room of the Carter’s ranch. Nick walked in and sat down.
“Let’s start from the begining, I think we’ve had enough drama for a season of Dawson’s Creek, which is too much for anyone, let’s talk about this” AJ exclaimed.
“Why do you care? This doesn’t envolve you” Katie snapped.
“But we have to live with it to, Kelly slept in our room last night, which means we couldn’t have any fun” Angie replied.
“Fine, ok, I had Devon, moved to Cali and then went on vacation to FL where Brian found out about Devon” Nicole replied.
“Like we didn’t already know that?” AJ asked.
“what do you want to know then?” Nicole questioned.
“Nick’s been telling us the whole time that the father of his kid was some model, then it turns out to be Katie” AJ explained.
“Thanks AJ, I’ll take that as a compliment” Katie joked.
“How do we know Devon is Brian’s kid?” Gina blurted out. Nicole sat still.
“What are you talking about?” Nicole asked.
“He could be someone else’s” Gina explained.
“Are you calling me a slut? I would never cheat on anyone” Nicole explained standing up.
“Don’t freak, it was just a question” Gina replied. Nicole sat down on the couch and looked around, noticing Nick staring at her.
“This is stupid guys, let’s just go TRY and party” Nick replied, grabbing Nicole’s arm.
“Nicole, what do you want to tell me?” Nick asked. Nicole cocked her head to the side.
“I don’t have anything to say to you” Nicole commented.
“You freaked out back there when Gina said Devon wasn’t Brian’s” Nick replied.
“What’s your point?” Nicole asked.
“My point is that you freaked for NO REASON! Unless there is a reason” Nick replied. “I think that trust is the most important thing in a relationship....”
“You know what Nick, then I don’t want to have a relationship, If you really believed in trust, you would trust me when I said I didn’t have ANYTHING to tell you!” Nicole yelled. She walked away from him, leaving him standing by himself.
