Nicole sat quietly outside. After her conversation with Nick, she was thinking about the relationship. Did she really love him? Did she really care? The answer, sadly enough, was no. She had needed someone to fall back on and Nick had certainly done the first move, so, in their 2 hour relationship wasn’t worth much to her. Katie did actually seem to love Nick, she hadn’t only come back to see Kelly, if it was even to see Kelly at all. It was to see Nick. You could tell by the way she looked at him. The sliding door opened and Brian walked out.
”Hey” Brian exclaimed.
“Hey” Nicole replied quietly. He walked over by her and sat down.
“Did you really mean what you said in there?” Brian questioned.
“Nah, I was just pissed off” Nicole replied. Brian smiled.
“I knew it, I have to tell ya something, ya know, before I don’t have the chance” Brian commented.
“What’s that?” Nicole asked. Things ran through her brain, did he want to tell her how he felt? Did he want to confess his love to her? Did he want to ask her to marry him?
“I’m thinking of marrying Gina, and because you know, you’re a woman, how would you want it to happen?” Brian asked. Nicole didn’t know what to say. She just sat there.
“UM. Maybe go to a special place we had together, or, um, a nice restaurant” Nicole replied. Brian smirked.
“That’s was exactly what I was thinking, maybe fly to the bahamas and ask her there you know?” Brian suggested.
“Maybe” Nicole whispered. “That would be beautiful”
“I like this, how we can still be friends, talk to eachother about stuff without thinking of screwing eachothers brains out” Brian joked. He leaned down and kissed her forehead, the ran back towards the door.
“Oh, befoire I forget. Nick seems to like you, you guys make a cute couple, I’, really happy for you guys even though I acted sorta out of it, It was weird seeing my ex with my friend” Brian commented. He opened the door and went back inside, leaving Nicole to think.
“So, How are you?” Katie asked. Kelly looked up from her Barbie’s.
“Good” Kelly replied, she was working on dressing malibu barbie for her prom. Kelly picked up Ken and offered it to Katie.
“Want to play?” She asked. Katie picked up Ken.
“Wow Barbie you look great” Katie exclaimed in a man’s voice. Kelly giggled.
“My name is Mary” Kelly made the Barbie say. Katie laughed and put the Ken in the car, happy that Kelly and her were getting along.
“Ready to go?” Nicole asked Devon. Devon made a face.
“Aren’t we going home with Nick?” Devon questioned.
“Mommy called a Taxi” Nicole replied. Devon walked away from her.
“I want to go with Nick” Devon rejected.
“And I want to be queen of england but I can’t so let’s go” Nicole replied grabbing his arm. Devon pulled away from her and ran into the living room. Nicole had avoided and conversation with Nick that she could, but it didn’t help, Devon ran right to him.
“You don’t want me to take you home?” Nick questioned. He was standing in the middle of the living room, His parents and the guys were sitting around him on the couches.
“I called a Taxi since I’m pretty tired” Nicole replied. Nick shook his head.
“I can take you home, I want to get out of here too” Nick replied. He picked up Devon, then went over by Kelly and picked her up.
“Bye guys!” Nick exclaimed. Everyone waved good-bye as Nick and Nicole left, except for Katie who sat on the floor with Kelly’s Barbie’s.
“Sorry for yelling at you before, I have a temper, I was just mad” Nick exclaimed. They had rode in silence until he spoke.
“Its fine Nick, really, I just needed to think” Nicole replied.
“And after you thought about it? What do you think now?” Nick asked. Nicole shrugged.
“Did you know Gina and Brian are getting married?” Nicole questioned changing the subject.
“Yeah, Is that what this is all about? You’re jealous aren’t you?” Nick asked.
“No, what are you talking about?” Nicole asked.
“Jealous…First you Deny it..” Nick started.
“Why would I be jealous?” Nicole questioned.
“Then you think twice about it…” Nick joked.
“Ok, maybe a little” Nicole replied.
“Then you see, That I’m right and you’re wrong” Nick laughed.
“Are you Jealous that I’m jealous?” Nicole laughed. Nick looked over at her a smiled. He didn’t reply, he just kept driving.
