Brian walked back to his room slowly. He opened the door and fell back on the couch. He heard someone in his room and turned around seeing Nicole walking around.
“I thought you were gone, I must’ve fell asleep on your bed” Nicole mumbled. She walked towards the door when Brian stopped her.
“Nicole, we have to talk” Brian suggested.
“Do we? I think when you went running after Gina you made your point known” Nicole replied.
“No I didn’t-We didn’t talk through this, I still want to be friends” Brian exclaimed. Nicole sighed and went to sit near Brian.
“Make it quick” Nicole replied.
“OK, listen, you and I, We are just two people who have moved on and have a kid” Brian exclaimed.
“Really? Thanks for telling me-Is that it?” Nicole snapped.
“No, Don’t be a smartass” Brian scolded.
“Me a smartass? Never” Nicole snapped. Brian gave Nicole a look.
“I’m trying to get through this-You’re not helping” Brian replied.
“Brian, there is only one way we can get through this, and you’re not going to do it” Nicole cried softly.
“Nicole, Listen, I love you” Brian replied. Nicole laughed.
“Really? Well, because I love you, I’m going to let you in on a little secret, When I came to FL, I never expected to see you again, You saw Devon and automatically thought he was your kid-Well, He ain’t-He’s some one night stand of mine” Nicole screamed as she ran out the door, leaving Brian sitting with his jaw hanging on the floor.
“Nick?” Nicole asked. She opened the door to see Nick’s room dark. She walked back to his bedroom seeing him drunk on his bed.
“Nicole?” Nick asked.
“Yea” Nicole replied.
“Wow, you look funny, When did you get so sexy?” Nick giggled loudly.
“Nick, your drunk” Nicole replied walking towards him.
“Did you ever see one of those chick flicks where there is a guy in love with a girl, but the girl only wants the other guy?” Nick asked, speaking slowly.
“Yes, Like Drive me crazy?” Nicole asked.
“Yea, whatever, That’s kind of like us” Nick replied. Nicole looked at Nick, laying on the bed, holding a beer and his shirt halfway up his chest.
“You’re drunk” Nicole replied.
“I know that, you don’t have to keep telling me, you know what? People say stuff they really mean when they’re drunk, so I might as well say it know before I’m sober and I’ll be too shy to” Nick exclaimed. Nicole leaned over to take his beer, she stood up and put it on the dresser.
“Shoot” Nicole exclaimed.
“I know you and Brian have a kid, but he doesn’t really love you, I mean, He’s always talking about Gina with you and any sane person can tell you hate hearing about it” Nick replied. Nicole sat down next to Nick.
“Keep going” Nicole commented.
“Well, I know I’m not ya know, Like Brian, He’s older than you, You’re the same age as me-We still click” Nick explained.
“What about you and Katie?” Nicole asked.
“I love her, as a friend” Nick replied. He was moving closer to Nicole, she smiled and turned away.
“Nick, I just told Brian something that I think you need to hear” Nicole explained.
“What?” Nick asked.
“Brian isn’t Devon’s dad, This guy I met at a party at Angela’s house in WI is” Nicole replied. Nick stared at her.
“U sure?” Nick asked.
“Yeah, I had a blood test done, Brian isn’t Devon’s dad” Nicole replied. Nick smirked.
“Why do you have a smirk on your face?” Nicole asked.
“Nothing, I was always pissed Brian had something on me, Now I guess I have a chance” Nick replied. Nicole pushed him on the bed and walked out his room.
“GO TO SLEEP NICK” Nicole yelled. Nick snickered and burped loudly while Nicole left his room.
“Gina, where are you going?” Brian begged. Gina pulled out a bag from under her bed.
“Brian, The first time you could show me that you really love me, You go with someone else” Gina cried. She pulled the last of her stuff from Brian’s hotel room. “Brian, I’ll get my stuff from you house and leave the key in your room”
“Gina , baby Please!” Brian yelled after her. She turned around, her face softened and Brian smiled thinking she was coming back to him. Instead, She gave him the finger and walked away.
“Wouldn’t it be scary if you had a fan like Stan?” Nicole asked Nick, listening to Nick’s new Eminem LP. Nick laughed. (Ok, I know its like the year 2006 in the story-But PRETEND Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP just came out-‘cause it’s da bomb!)
“Stan is the coolest Eminem Song, It would be scary as hell though” Nick replied. Nicole was laying on Nick’s bed listening to music.
“So, how are you and Brian?” Nick asked.
“He’s been in his hotel room all day-Gina left him yesterday” Nicole replied.
“Don’t sound to sad” Nick joked. Nicole looked up and smiled.
“You care carter-I know you do” Nicole replied. Nick leaned towards her, but once again, she rolled away. Nick was too quick and was on the other side of the bed. He pressed his lips onto Nicole’s. He had rehearsed the kiss over and over in his mind. It was perfect, instead of pulling away. Nicole leaned into him. She flipped over so she was straddling him. The Steve Berman skit on the Eminem CD came on.
“Tower records told me to shove this record up my ass, Do you know how it feels to be told to have a record shoved up your ass?” Eminem said. Nicole laughed and jumped off Nick.
“You know how that feels don’t ya Nick?” Nicole joked. Nick threw a pillow at her.
“I thought we were gonna do something!” Nick commented.
“Like what?” Nicole asked. Nick twitched his eyebrows.
“You pig, I’m a virgin” Nicole replied. Nick laughed.
“So that would make Devon adopted?” Nick joked. Nicole smirked and walked towards the TV.
“Brian, you deserve it” AJ exclaimed.
“I deserve it? What did I do? I love Gina, she left, I loved Devon, he isn’t mine, I loved Nicole, she hates me….” Brian replied.
“Hey, You and Leigh could always get together” AJ joked.
“Yea, at least we had fun” Brian replied. AJ joked and walked to Brian’s window.
“Brian, I have an idea to get your mind off your women problems” AJ exclaimed. Brian walked to his window seeing some women standing by the pool in string bikini’s.
“That won’t help” Brian replied. AJ laughed going to get Brian’s suit.
“I’ll meet you by the pool in an hour” AJ exclaimed.
