”Where’s Nicole?” Katie asked Nick. They were clearing the table off so the dance could get started.
”No idea” Nick replied. Brian was sitting in his chair, poking his food with a fork.
”No hungry Brian?” Jennifer asked in a quiet voice.
”No” Brian muttered. Brian looked up and noticed she always acted the same, she always looked the same, always sounded the same.
”What Brian? Your starring at me” Jennifer exclaimed. Brian shrugged and turned away from her.
”OK Brian, I have a question!” Amanda, AJ’S girlfriend, exclaimed.
”What?” Brian asked, clearing his throat.
”About how many girls has AJ hit on during the last tour? He says none, but I don’t believe him” Amanda questioned.
”AJ, well, none” Brian lied. Amanda smirked. Brian laughed and decided that he better lighten up.
”So what happened after you snuck backstage?” The bartender asked.
”Well, Brian and I went back to my place, he slept on the couch and a few days later asked me to come with him” Nicole replied. She was sitting at the bar explaining her life to a bartender named Bob.
”Well, I think you should move on, it’s pretty clear you didn’t have a relationship anyway” Bob replied.
”I thought we did” Nicole mumbled, taking a sip from her 3rd Brandy and Coke. Vertical Horizon walked on to the stage and started to sing. Nicole swayed to the music as Jeff from 98 Degrees walked up to her.
”Want to dance?” Jeff asked. Nicole looked over at Brian, seeing him talking to Jennifer. She placed her drink on the bar and walked onto the floor with Jeff.
”He’s everything you want, He’s everything you need, He’s everything inside of you that you would like to be” Vertical Horizon sang. Jeff was a pretty good dancer and Nicole wasn’t too bad either.
”Hey, I found Nicole” Nick exclaimed. Katie looked to the dance floor and saw her dancing. Brian looked over and a feeling of jealousy washed over him.
”Brian, your friend shouldn’t be dancing with a 98 degrees member, that could be bad for publicity” Jennifer exclaimed. Brian looked at her.
”You know Jennifer, shut the fuck up for 10 seconds, How about ‘Boy band member breaks up with crappy actress’ how’s that for bad publicity?” Brian growled.
”How dare you speak to me that way!” Jennifer yelled.
”You know who my ‘friend’ out there is? I took her here because I needed a date tonight because my girlfriend couldn’t fly here for me, I like her a lot more then you, so I’m going to go cut in and dance with her” Brian exclaimed. Jennifer stood up and walked to the next table where Carson was sitting. She sat next to Carson and stroked his cheek.
”That was quick” Kevin joked, pointing to how fast Jennifer had recovered to her and Brian’s break up. Brian walked over to the Nicole and Jeff.
”Can I cut in?” Brian asked.
”No” Jeff replied, pulling Nicole closer to his body.
”Nicole?” Brian asked.
”Sorry Brian” Nicole replied. Brian walked away then walked back by them.
”Can I cut in?” Brian asked again. Jeff was about to yell at him when Nicole stopped him.
”You know Brian, I only go out with guys because I like them, I don’t give a damn about who they are, how much money they have, and I liked you. I thought you like me too, but I guess I was wrong” Nicole exclaimed.
”Nicole…” Brian exclaimed.
”No, let me finish, you think that because you’re a Backstreet Boy that you can step on everyone, that everyone wants to fuck you, but your wrong Brian. They don’t want Brian Littrell; they want the Backstreet Boy Brian. They want your money and they don’t care who they hurt to get it. Jennifer is a prime example!” Nicole screamed. The music had stopped and people were watching the two fight.
”Look at you! You knew I had a girlfriend, I could tell when you met me, but you still came here with me anyway, your intentions couldn’t have been any better than hers” Brian yelled.
”Brian, I came here because I liked you, you seemed like a nice guy” Nicole replied. Tears fell down her cheek slowly.
”But you knew I had a girlfriend, admit it? You knew but you still came, even if you liked me or not, and Money didn’t mean anything? That’s a lie” Brian growled. Nicole slapped his face.
”FUCK OFF” Nicole screamed. She stormed to the bar. The bartender handed her another Brandy and Coke.
”Nice Slap” The bartender joked. Nicole took her drink and walked to the elevators.
”That was smooth Brian” AJ laughed as Brian walked back to the table.
”Shut up, It hurt like hell!” Brian replied, rubbing his jaw.
”Love hurts” Katie laughed.
”Not funny” Brian growled. Howie looked at Brian and smiled.
”Do you know how I convinced Claudia into coming back to me after I slept with another women?” Howie asked.
”Yo D, you cheated on Claudia?” AJ asked.
”Yes AJ, not only you can do it! Anyway, I showed her how much she meant to me” Howie exclaimed.
”Howie, If I try to get near her, she’ll kill me” Brian replied.
”No, maybe not-You never know, she hurt Brian, that’s all” Howie explained. Brian shrugged, trying to think of a way to convince Nicole.
