I've Been Left Behind
Look at the sky, the moon all red
I was scared and shivering in bed
'What's going on?' I thought to myself
I cried to my mother for some help
No one heard my crying plea
Cause no one even answered me
I squinted my eyes at a blinding light
I wondered what it was doing there at night
And then the light was gone in the blink of an eye
I looked up and saw angels and horses in the sky
The leader of this parade was on a white horse
I thought what my mom said and i said, "Of course"
I started to sob right there on my bed
Thinking about what my mother had said
I'd been left behind, Jesus came back
Mom said it would happen if i started to slack
I never stopped crying, I kept going on
Jesus had left me and my mother was gone
