Who You Are

I watch you more than you know I see more than you think You are beautiful, popular and successful At first, I wanted to be just like you Not anymore Now I have seen into you I know your pain I know your loneliness I know you hurt and sorrow It overwhelms me I care about you SO much But can do nothing to take away your pain You hide it You cover it You escape from it With your many friends, alchohol, music and men You have to If you didnt you would have to deal with the pain And that would be too much So I try I try to get you to laugh, to smile To just be here for you Be your friend But you dont need me You have all that other stuff So, in my own way, I still try To ease your pain the best I can And hope that someday You will find true happiness...
