d/ 2 Nov 1861 in the Civil War. 

On 1860 census, J.C. is living with A.& Eliza 
Atkinsonin Upshur Co. and was listed as an artist. 
I have often wondered if there was a family 
connection here, or just good friends, 
as they were both the same age.

d/ 4 Aug 1863 in a Civil War Prison Camp.








 MARY ANN ELIZABETH WILLINGHAM:

m/JAMES ROBERT READ about 1868 in Upshur Co.,Texas.
He was b/ in Miss. abt. 1846.

9 - LAURA ALMEDA WILLINGHAM: 
b/ 29 Aug 1877; d/ 17 Sept 1937; 
m/ IRVIN EURENOUS WHITE 14 Dec 1897 
in Upshur Co., Tx. They had 11 children, 
one of which contributed a great deal 
to the Amos Jackson line, 
he was RAYMOND WILLINGHAM WHITE. 
His brothers & sisters were: 
BARNEY WHITE, MONNIE WHITE, EUGENE COY WHITE, 
RUTH ELIZABETH WHITE, BERNICE WHITE, 
CECIL MOZELL WHITE, DOYCE ELYWN WHITE, 
MARY FRANCES WHITE, ONETA FAYE WHITE, and 
JACK WENDELL WHITE.

I doubt that this line would be as complete

He was the son of James G. Murphy 
and Lavina Catlett.
James G.'s 2nd marriage was to 
EMMA LOU WELDON READ.
Emma's oldest daughter, Birdie, 
married an older brother of 
James Arthur Murphy.

Cecil moved his family to Southern California, 
he is buried in Forest Lawn Cem.,Glendale,Calif. 

He had 3 children:

 REBECCA JANE WILLINGHAM:

He was the son of Isaac Satterwhite (1815-1881) 
and Luticia Hollis. (1819-1870). 

Francis & Rebecca had 3 sons:

m/ #1- EMMA MELTON 9 Feb 1890. 

They had 2 children. 
She died in childbirth 13 Mar 1895.

and a daughter, whose name is very hard to make out.
Part of the name is Belle SATTERWHITE, 
who I believe died before 1900.
