This set has been color-corrected to adjust the excessive red levels that Mitsubishi determined were pleasing to the eye. The process involves building a PC interface device to write to EEPROMs in the set via the I2C bus.
Purchased in 2001, this set is scheduled for upgrade to a DLP front projector.
