Lot 31-- Dark green velvet evening gown designed by Catherine Walker. Sold at $24,150 It is said to resemble a mans smoking jacket. Diana wore it for a photo in a Vanity Fair magazine spread in 1997.Photos By mario testino
Lot 32--Gorgeous
burgundy velvet sheath with pink pearl adorned neckline.It is full length
but split to the knee with shimmering pearls surrounding the scooped neckline.
Catherine Walker designed it and it sold for $29,900.
Lot 33--Velvet
and taffeta blend together in this Scottish design by Catherine Walker.
Diana wore it to a Balmoral event for an evening of Scottish Dancing..
Sold at $46,000. Above Diana wears it to the National Gallery in Scotland
in 1990.
Lot 34-- Victor
Edelstein designed this emerald satin ballgown with a swath of material
forming a bustle in back.. Diana wore it for one of her formal portraits.
Edelstein thought maybe he overdid Diana's request for "a grand ballgown."
It sold for $27,600.
Lot 35--Worn by Diana on a solo visit to Argentina in 1995, Catherine walker designed this lace dress with its cap sleeves and satin halter straps. Sold for $25,300 .
Lot 36--
Black velvet evening dress by Catherine walker Diana wore it in 1988 for
a concert in Smith Square. Sold for $28,750.
Lot 38-- Catherine
walker designed this cocktail dress for Diana.Its dramatic black and white
coloring and brass buttons seems to be Navy influenced. Sold for
$36,800 LOT 38
Lot 40-- Another of the Royal Blue dresses, Diana often wore. This a Catherine Walker. . Diana wore to Guidhall in 1989..Sold at $28,750.
