Lot 41--This grey silk sarong gown was designed by Catherine Walker  for private functions The bodice is decorated with simulated pearls. Won by Marueen Rorech for $29,900. --Diana wore this for a Vanity Fair photo shoot in 1997.

Lot 42-- Diana wore this green gown to the   London's Dorchester Hotel in 1992 for a dinner hosted by the Malaysian Head Of State. Seen above, she accessorized with emeralds and  the spencer tiara.

In 1992 Diana wore this dress, and a necklace of emeralds at an 80th birthday part for Sir George Solti at Buckingham Palace.

In 1993, she also wore it to her last state banquet.  Designed by Catherine Walker it sold for $24,150 to   Ellen Petho owns this gown and 4 others.
 

      Lot 43
Lot 43--This Catherine Walker design is a dinner dress with a black silk skirt and bodice of white ribbon lace. Diana wore when she took William and Harry to  the premiere of Hook with Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams. Sold for $29,900. Notice the pearl detail inset picture.

In 1992 she also wore it on an official visit to Pakistan.  It is owned by Suzanne King of Texas and part of her Pink Ribbon Crusade.

Lot 44 --Velvet and satin--This striking gown was designed by Murray Arbeid and worn by Diana at a London premiere in 1986.

Also that year in September, she wore it to the America Cup ball

In 1987 she was the hit of Spain in this outfit where she added her own touch of one red, one black long glove.  Made $25,300 at auction . It is owned by Suzanne King of Texas and part of her Pink Ribbon Crusade.

Lot 45 --This  design, sold for $27,600 at the auction.. It was worn for a visit to France and the British Embassy there in Novmeber 1988.

 Also in  1988,  Diana wore it when she was made an honorary barrister at London's Inner Temple. It takes a lawyer 20 years to achieve this honor.

In 1989 she wore it for a dinner recital at Margaret Thatcher's, who was then Prime Minister Of England.
 
                                                                            Lot 46

Lot 46--With it's lavishly decorated bodice of beads, pearls and sequins, Diana wore this gown,  for a formal portrait and private functions within the palace.  A Catherine Walker design the dress sold for $38,000 at auction but with Christies commission, the amount paid totaled. $43,700 according to the high bidders, Nancy & Frank Zacharias.

Lot 47--A spangly Zandra Rhodes dress was Diana's choice in 1986 when she attended the Torvil And Dean Ice Show. She also wore it to a state banquet in Kyoto Japan.  A confection of embroidery, glass beads and pearls it sold for $ 27,600.

Lot 48-. No picture of Diana wearing outfit.
Catherine Walker designed this cream colored dress with velvet black bands It sold for $25,300 and is currently owned by Ellen Petho.
 

                                              Lot 49
Lot 49---. Murray Arbeid designed this dress with black velvet top and white taffeta skirt for the Princess. (Seen here on Diana, minus the matching  bolero jacket.) Sold for $ 24,150.
 
 
 
                                         Lot 50
Lot 50--Again Catherine walker garbed Diana in a striking gown with green/blue sequins embroidered by  Jacob Schlaepfer . It has a ruched waist and a slit to the knee. Its high bid was $24,150 at Christies. Owned by Maureen Rorech-Dunkel and now part of the Kensington palace display..
