Our Pets

Now that you've seen our rabbits, take a look at our pets! :)

NOTE* I've noticed, when loading this page, it sometimes takes awhile and some of the pics will show up as white boxes with a little red 'x' in it. If you right click on it, the scroll down to 'Show Picture' and click on that, the pictures WILL show up. I think it's just that there's so many pics on this page.*

Mellissa's Puppy, Chase

Just got him in the first part of January...isn't he a cutie? Pay no mind to the "unhappy" look on his face - he had to stay in his cage while we took pics of the rabbits.

Mellissa's Kittens

Here are Suki (the dark one) and Zack (the orange guy). Just got them on January 23, and aren't they a sweet addition? Suki and Zack are brother and sister, approx. 3 months old or so.

Mellissa's Tortoise

Here's Mellissa's tortoise, Rosie. Rosie is a Russian tortoise.

Mellissa & Mark

Perhaps Mellissa's favorite pet of all (lol) is her man, Mark. Wonderfully supportive and affectionate, a great addition to the clan...lol. :)

Melissa's Fish

I know...not a very exciting pet, but we did name them all. I can't tell who all showed up in this pic, as the display on my computer is sort of messed up right now. But I'll tell you anyway: the large goldfish is Flounder and the small one is Little Foot, the albino catfish is Sebastion, the plecostamus is Duckie, and the snail is Goober II. My 3 yr. old helped name them all. :)

Melissa's Cats

Here are my cats. The first 2 pics are of Coonie, a male tabby going on 15? this year. He's quite a little monster, even in his old age. Then we have Snarf, my little female tabby, who is going to be 5 this year. Her brother, Morris, is the orange tabby. My daughter calls him a lion king..lol. And the black cat is my sister's cat, Pheona, and she'll be 6 this year.

Melissa's Sister's Iguana

Here are a few pics of my sister's iguana, Gizmo. We got her in September of 2000. Yes, she's small, due to a calcium deficiency (can't remember the exact name for her problem). Gizmo takes a supplement daily, and eats like a small cow. Overall, I think she's pretty happy.

Melissa's Pet Bunnies

These are my rabbits that stay at home with me. Actually, only the English Lop is mine, and she's not just a "pet", but will hopefully be going to shows with me this spring. Hunny was born this past October, and is a real sweetheart. That's my sister, Kim, holding her in the picture. Anyway, the REW English Angora is Snow Baby, and she belongs to my 3 yr. old daughter. The sable point Holland Lop is Cleo, and she is my 18 mo. old's bunny. Of course, all of the responsibilities fall on me, with the girls being so young, but we all really enjoy our rabbits and I can't imagine not having them.
