Anne Baxter is a blind girl who enters the scene as a mysterious girl with an unknown background. It is not known who her family is, where she lives or where she is from. Anne appears to be a close friend of Bree Timmins but things later take a drastic turn when it is revealed that she is Janelle's real daughter (she and Bree were switched at birth) and she has come to Ramsay Street to meet her real mother, that being Janelle Timmins.
