"Pink" on Košutnjak, Belgrade, Ilinka Rađenović born on
Apr. 16th 1984, in Belgrade became the Queen of Yugoslavia. Tijana Pejović
became the First Princess, Dragana Obradović the Second Princess
and Vesna Nikčević - the Princess of the Charm. Katarina Miletić
won San Pelegrino Top Model title and Slađana Nešović became the
Vitaskin Cosmetics Beauty Visage.</p>

<p align="center">The new Miss Earth is no one else but Dzejla Glavovic from
Bosnia. She has been a favorite ever since the beginning of this years
Miss Earth pageant. Our Sladjana Bozovic took the title of Miss Water
(second runner up). First runner up was from Kenya and third runner up
was Greece.</p>

<p align="center">Aleksandra Kokotovic this years Miss Yugoslavia
International is the owner of Miss Tourism International Bosnia and
Herzegovina license. This contest has been held many years in Malaysia
in Kuala Lumpur. This year she has chosen Aida Osmanovic as a
representative from Bosnia. Aida is 22 years old from Banja Luka who
has been living in USA last six years. She is going to be in Malaysia
from December 18 to January 2. The final night is going to be held on
the New Years Eve in a beautiful hall. New Miss Tourism International
is going to be chosen 10 minutes before the Big Bang. Aleksandra
Kokotovic says that for her it is most important for Aida to be smart, nice
because she is not missing elegance and beauty. She wishes her the best
time, to make good friends, because that feeling is going to stay with her
forever. Aleksandra has been doing well since her appearance at Miss
International. She is working on starting her own agency. Best

<p align="center">Miss Yugoslavia Aleksandra Kokotovic is competing in
this years Miss International Pageant. The finals will beheld on
September 30th and we are all hoping that Alexandra is going to make top 15
this year. Her experience as a model and all the other Beauty contest
should help her in her quest for Yugoslavia to end in Semifinals of Miss
International pageant. Also best of luck to Marta Pancevska.

Miss Yugoslavia. In this competition which was held in Zrenjanin four
girls were chosen to join the other girls in Miss Yugosalvia final on
October 5. Miss was Lidija Injac first runner up is Zeljka Milic and
second runner up is Biljana Boltres and Miss body was Ana Marija Popov.</p>

<p align="center">This years Elite Model Look has completed on September 9
in Tunis where Ana took the title of Elite Model of the world for
2002. She is only 16 but she has a big career in front of her.
Congratulations Ana you have accomplished something wonderful. You and
Yugoslavian basketball team make all of us proud to be Serbian.

Bosnia and hercegovina.</font>

<p align="center">The new Miss Serbian Republic has been chosen and August
21. She is 19 years old girl from Banja Luka Dragana Sojic. Her
first runner up was Zeljka Antic while second runner up title went to
Aleksandra Kostic. This event was organized by modeling agency Primera
Look from Banjaluka. Miss Charm title went to Sladjana Kuzmic.
The decision that jury made agreed with publics opinion also because Dragana
also won title of Miss Internet. Miss photogenic title went to Zana
Petrovic while Maja Despic took title of Miss media. All of these
girls and couple more will go on to compete in final of Miss Bosnia
Contest. Hopefully Dragana will have same luck as Ana Mirjana and win
the title of Miss Bosnia.</p>

<p align="center">At the beginning of August the new Miss Teen Yugoslavia
was chosen. She is 18 years old Slavica Ivic from Kac. Her first
runner up was Aleksandra Aleksic from Novi Sad and second runner up was
Tijana Pejovic from Backa. In front of the judges parated 19 girls
from all over Yugoslavia. Slavica was clear favorite from start of the
pageant.

Her first runner up was Branka Vukovic and secont runner up was Milana
Zeljkovic. They will go on to compete in Miss Yugosalvia Semifinal
Competition to be held in Subotica.

<p align="center">This years Elite Model Look Yugoslavia has completed, and
this year like last year we have two girls that are sharing first place and
both of them will go on to compete at Elite Model Look International in
September which will be held in Tunis. The winners of this years Elite
Model Look Yugoslavia are Ana Mihajlovic (16) from Kragujevac and Marija
Micanovic (14) from Cetinje. They will try and fallow in footsteps of
Natasa Vojinovic who is one of the most famous models in world right now.

<p align="center"><font face="Castellar">Miss kosovo 2002</font>

<p align="center">It is the first time that Miss Kosovo was chosen since the
conflict in this part of Yugoslavia. On Jun 22, in city of Zvecane new
Miss Kosovo was chosen. There was fifteen candidates out of which one
was Albanian and one was gypsy. Girls paraded three times in swimsuits
and two evening gown parades. The winner of this even was Danka
Vlahovic from Kosovska Mitrovica. First runner up was Jelena Kovacevic
and sedond runner up was Biljana Lazic while title of miss charm went to
Irina Jasari (Albanian girl) and miss photogenic was Danijela Milojevic.
Miss Kosovo and her runner up will go on to compete in Miss Yugoslavia
final. Some of the most prestigious people of Yugoslav fashion scene
were there. Verica Rakocevic, the most famous Serbian designer
presented all the girls with a parfume from her collection and also she had
some of her clothing auctioned and all the money made from that went to
people that had to run from Kosovo.

<p align="center">Right after Sladjana Bozovic came from Puerto Rico new
Miss Yu Europe was chosen. Winner was Vesna Ratkovic from
Germany. Four judges chose the prettiest girl out of ladies from all
over the Europe. In front of the full hall in Ostorp the new winner
was crowned by last years winner Sladjana Bozovic. Her first runner up
was Miljana Vuckovic from Switzerland and second runner up was Marina Kazen
from Sweden. Miss charm was Ana Hristofovic from Malmo. Judges
in this years event were Jolanda Petkovic famous Yugoslav fashion designer,
Sladjana Bozovic, Yugoslavia consulate in Sweden Jevdjevic, and also
businessman and politician Slobodan Petkovic. The whole evening was
nice and hopefully Europe is sending their best to final of Miss Yugoslavia.

<p align="center">The new representative for Bosnia on next Elite Model Look
is going to be Zeljana Gusavac from Banjaluka. Her runner ups were
Danira Hasanovic and Danira Kurspahic while third place went to Mirjana
Ecimovic. Zeljana will represent Bosnia in Tunis on final of Elite
Model Look 2002. After winning her title Zeljana said "I can't
talk because of how excited I am. My dream come true. I thought
of this contest as one good party, I never thought I would win it.
Other girls are also so pretty, but I won. I am praying to God not to
wake up now."</p>

Universe 2002</font>

<p align="center">Sladjana Bozovic has completed her evening gown and
swimsuit preliminary competition on Friday 25 of May in Puerto Rico.
During the opening number all the girls presented themselves in their
National Costumes after words they all paraded in their Evening Gowns and
Swimsuits. During the fallowing two days Interviews will be conducted
with all the candidates behind closed doors. Sladjana has done

Hopefully we will se Sladjana in top ten on Wednesday night.

<p align="center">New Miss March has been chosen in Novi Sad. The
winner was Nina Senicar who is also Yugoslavian champion in horse back
riding. The event was held in hotel Park. During the night girls
paraded in swimming suits, traditional costumes and sport clothing.
During the intervals Ariana was entertaining all the visitors. In the
next part Tijana Stajsic and Stana Lazendic were introduced. Stana was
one of the contestants in last years Miss Yugoslavia who went on to take
third place in Top Model competition in Kiev. Not long after
presentation of these two wonderful ladies all the candidates paraded in
their eveningwear. After some time judges brought the decision.
As said earlier winner was Nina Senicar from Novi Sad, while first runner up
was Adela Kondic from Apatin. Second runner up was Gordana Gradic from
Vrbas. Miss Body was Mirjana Panjkov is Sida, while title of Miss
Photogenic went to Jelena Martinovic. Miss Charm was Dragana Vejin.

Last Miss Yugoslavia in any Mayor pageant</font>

<p align="center">The radically restructured alliance — mediated by the
European Union and approved in a historic accord signed by top Serbian
and Montenegrin leaders agreed to wipe the name Yugoslavia from the map of
Europe. The federation's two remaining republics committed Thursday, March
14 to form a loose joint state with a new name: Serbia and
Montenegro. The two semi-independent states will share a common
defense and foreign policy but will maintain separate economies, currencies
and customs services — at least for the time being. So in near
future we might expect to see sash of Miss Yugoslavia exchanged with one
saying Miss Serbia and Montenegro</p>

Yugoslavia 1998 you don't have a feeling that you were working you feel that
you just spent and hour or so talking to friend of yours.
<p align="center">*What did you wish for on New Years Eve?
<p align="center">J-It was concerning love but I cant say much about it
right now
<p align="center">*Little bit ago you talked to my friend from show "Tragac"
who asked you if Arabian prince asked you to marry him. Is there any
true behind this?
<p align="center">J-No! I am just wondering how can something like that come
to peoples minds when I never told anyone that I meat four Arabian
princes. I think when I go to Dubai in February that I will meat and
other five.
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">*How did you get to Dubai
anyways?</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">J-My friend who was also
model with me in Italy went over there for vacation and she loved it so she
stayed there. She told me that I was kind of girl that would get a lot
of jobs there so I stayed there for a while even more than I expected.</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">*All Models go to Italy and
you to Dubai why?</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">J- I figured it all out
there are months that are really busy in Italy and that is when I stay there
I have my apartment there and then when it is slow I go to Dubai because I
get a lot of work there.</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">*What was different for you
when you got to Dubai?</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">J-Man and women are both
wearing same things almost except woman's are all black and they are all
covered at like 40 degrees Celsius. I couldn't do that so I would wear
my usual stuff on streets and I didn't have any problems with my clothing
and neither did people that live there.</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">*How much are jobs paid in
Dubai?</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">J-Catalogs about the same
like in Italy, Fashion shows less but promotions for companies double. </font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">*So what fashion shows have
you done?</font>
<p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="2">J-Sony adds, Versace, Armani
and all the other main houses have their shows there and I have done most of
them. There is a lot of Big Designers selling their clothing to
Arabian woman who travel around Europe. You can see Prada, Armani and
Versace purses on woman in Dubai. Can you imagine how that matches
with traditional dresses that they wear. </font>

<p align="center">Like last year Miss Yugoslavia organization will hold
monthly contests thought different parts of Yugoslavia so that more girls
can get involved in Miss Yugoslavia final contest. Miss December was
chosen in Sombor where this years Miss Yugoslavia Tijana Stajsic is
from. This was also best opportunity to present new Miss Yu to her
home crowd after her success in South Africa. Winner of Miss December
Yugoslavia is Biljana Veljkovic (pictured above) while first runner up was
Dragana Vejin and second runner up was Adeli Kontic. Miss
Congeniality is Gordana Gradic, while Miss photogenic is Jovana Hromis.</p>

International 2002</font></p>
<p align="center">Aleksandra Kokotovic Miss Yu International 2002 has been
appearing in many Yugoslavian Magazines this year. She has become an
overnight sensation in Yugoslavia as she did in Florida USA. She was
present at Miss World 2001 as translator for Miss Yugoslavia because she is
fluent in English being that she was Miss Yu USA. She was also one of the
participants at Best Model of the World representing Yugoslavia. All
of this experiences will certainly help her do well at Miss International
Pageant this year. Recently she was interviewed in Serbian
Magazine Svedok and hear are some parts of her interview. Aleksandra
was born in Sarajevo and when war started she moved to Belgrade where she
lived for while and then moved to America. There she went to agencies
and became one of the best known models in agency whose name we cant show
right now due to the Miss International competition. She has traveled all
around the world and some of the most exotic places on earth. She
Modeled in India and also Beirut Turkey. Aleksandra is not only
interested in modeling some other of her interests are painting, running and
she has been great student ever since she started school She finished
college in United States majoring in English and while in school and also
now she has been volunteering for Brest Cancer Research Center. She believes
that unknown deeds are the most important ones. She thinks that
modeling has brought her a lot of happiness but at the same time she says
that she doesn't have much of personal life since she is working 24/7.
She just wishes that she will find someone as good as her father and live in
long happy marriage like her parents. Aleksandra has had offers from
Hollywood from people like Carlo Cazar who has produced Terminator.

<p align="center">On December 4 Aleksandar Kokotivc will be traveling to
Shanghai in China for the biggest Male Model Competition Manhunt
International 2002/2003. Aleksandar is 20 years old and stands 192 cm
high and speaks perfect English. He is studying International Business
in Florida. He is charming and modern. The owner of Manhunt Alex Liu
Bing An said that Aleksandar has perfect dimensions, is a great model type
and that he posses unusual charms. Aleksandar is going to be in
Shanghai from December 4th till December 16th. Already, he has all his
clothing ready for pre-event happenings. The final evening is going to
be on December 14, in Grand Shanghai Theater. Shanghai is called
Fashion Center of China, like Paris of East in which we have mix of
tradition European and new Chinese Architecture. Shanghai is also most
commercial city in China in which fashion and modeling are sought after.
Aleksandar has been modeling for quit some time and he has been very
successful at that. He is photogenic and has a perfect catwalk, which
will help him a great deal during the competition. He has respect for
himself and others, knowledge that will be a plus in China. He is very

this year. Miss Yugoslavia organization is also sending their delegate
to this pageant. Carousel productions have confirmed that Yugoslavia
will be represented by no one else but Sladjana Bozovic who has competed in
Miss Universe 2002 pageant.</p>

with a tie. </font>

<p align="center">This is the first year that Miss Yugoslavia Semifinal
competition has finished with a tie. Suzana Milutinovic and Biljana
Mitrovic had the same amount of points so they got to share the title.
Their first runner up was Maja Djordjevic who has been Miss Yugoslavia
Beauties choice for the winner. Second runner up spot went to two
girls also. Sladjana Saulic and Marija Jovicic split that title.
Miss Photogenic was Jovana Jeftic while Miss Charm title went to Suzana
Milutinovic. The whole night was perfect. Girls came to the
stage on the boat that had candles burning on it which made it a dramatic
entrance. Most of the winners and runner ups will advance to final of
Miss Yugoslavia contest to be held in October.</p>

candidates in Miss International Pageant. She has been constantly
competing in different international pageants ever since she won her title
during Miss Yugoslavia contest. She has competed in Best Model of the
World competition. Top Model of the World Contest where she was second
runner up. Also she competed in GC Girl World final where she also
placed as a second runner up. In Miss Tourism International World
Final she took title of Miss Friendship. </p>

DKNY, Kenzo, Biblos... She is now appearing in advertisements for Omega
watches. She has also been festived in Womens Digest. Most recently in

title of Mister Media. Nebojsa Malesevic took the title of first
runner up and also Mister internet. Krstan Perduh took the title of
Mister photogenic while Igor Tadic was chosen as Mister Conginiality.
Drago Jelisavac took the second runner up postition while Marko Stanojcic
was pronounced as this years most beautiful man in Serbian Republic.</p>

<p align="center">Miss Yugoslavia Tijana Stajsic and president of Miss Yu
organization Vesna Jugovic have returned from Miss Egypt Pageant where they
were members of the jury who choose new Miss Egypt Universe. Both
Tijana and Vesna only have good memories from the trip. They said they
were treated like royalties and also only when they came to Egypt and saw
all the ladies in traditional clothing they figured how hard is to hold this
pageant. "I loved it in Egypt. One of my dreams came
true" were some of the words Tijana said about Kairo. Maja Cecic
Vidos Miss Croatia Universe 2001 was also there and her and Tijana got along
very well and now they have plans of visiting each other. Tijana's
beauty mesmerized Egiptians and she good many modeling offers. Egypts
biggest modeling agency "Face to face" made a contract with her
and Tijana will probably soon be going to Egypt once again.

<p align="center">On May 29, new Miss Universe was chosen and she was Miss
Russia Oxana Federova. After coming back to Yugoslavia Sladjana
Bozovic Miss Yugoslavia has commented on this years pageant.
<p align="center">"The reception was wonderful. We were staying at
hotel Intercontinental. After a long flight we only slept couple hours
because the next day we started preparing by doing shoots and
rehearsals. Almost every day we went around the city and we were
always welcomed with cheers and flowers. People in Puerto Rico are
just so wonderful. Every evening we had dinners with influential
people from Puerto Rico and around the world, as well as with sponsors of
this years event. We visited Rum factory in which we were not allowed
to taste the rum only smell it, also we had a wonderful event organized by
American Airlines during which each girl was represented alone.
Another very interesting event was fashion show during which we paraded
designs of some well known designers. Most of these events were used
to raise funds for different humanitarian organizations. We also had
an event in which we brought presents from out land for auction. I brought
book by Miroslav Antic which is called "The story of the Bird".

<p align="center">During the whole time we were in Puerto Rico we only had
two free evenings and even then we were always fallowed by security.
We also had security outside of our rooms at all times. It is true
that there was thousand people in front of our hotel every day waiting to
talk to us and take pictures, but they were nice and they didn't cause any
problems. During the evenings I was often asked about political
aspects of my country, but I tried to stay out of long conversations on that
subject. They always said good things about our national Basketball
team, so I was really proud. I spent most of my time with
representatives of Cyprus, Greece, Sweden, USA, Slovak Republic and
Slovenia. Couple days before the contest my parents arrived in Puerto
Rico along with my brother. They came there to give me some moral
support, but we were not in contact much because of the rules. Five
days before the final we had preliminary competition in which top ten were
chosen, but they might have been chosen even earlier. It is known that
politics play major factors when it comes to international beauty
contests. Many people thought that Puerto Rico will be in top ten
because they are hosts but that didn't happen. I knew that since
Yugoslavia did well in Miss World that Miss Albania is going to be in top
ten for sure. China competed for first time so she was in top
ten. At the end all the small talks turned out to be true. I am
not disappointed that I didnt make top ten because I wasn't expecting
much. I knew that politics are big factor in this pageant as soon as I
came there. They were really nice to us but there was different
relationship between organizers and certain girls. We always had our
sash so they could always know who is who. My favorite was Miss
Russia. I am glad that she won because she is natural Slovak
beauty. After the pageant there was a Gala event for all the
girls. America and Puerto Rico did not attend the gala event because
they did not agree with judges decisions. America was so mad about the
results that she declined to go on to the stage after the winner was
announced. In one moment the news reporter from Albania approached me
and I got scared. She asked me what did I think of Miss Albania.
I told her that she is nice looking and that she is charming. I really
thought that she is charming but I knew that she made top ten because of
politics. "

first time that East European country has won Miss Universe Pageant, also it
is first victory in 13 years of any European country. Our Sladjana
Bozovic was unable to qualified into top ten but she has done amazing job in
Puerto Rico. Other finalists were Venezuela, Panama, China and South
Africa and five semifinalists were Germany, Cyprus, Canada, Albania and
India.

2002. Eighteen years old student won most of the votes of the
judges. First Runner Up was Olivijana Gergoric and Second Runner Up
was Jelena Rogulj. Miss Photogenic was Dubravka Stefanac who was chosen from
Croatian audience from around Croatia.</p>

in 2001 new Mister Yugoslavia wasn't chosen, so the rain of Nikola
Bogdanovic was prolonged for couple more months. New Mister will be
chose in February because Mister World pageant was moved to March, and as
Milanka Djordjevic director of Miss Yu company said. She also said
that there was many contestants that came to this years contest and they
have already had semifinal competition.</p>

<p align="center"><font face="Castellar">Miss Yugoslavia Europe about her
experiences in Beirut</font></p>

<p align="center">"My trip to Beirut was full of political
injustices" Said Yugoslavian representative to this years Miss Europe
Nevena Djordjevic. She said that her trip to Beirut took three days
because she did not get visa till she came to airport where she had to wait
for fourteen hours instead an hour which was originally said. This was
talked about during the pageant. "Once I was there I realized
that I was behind because I missed days which were used by judges to meat
delegates. I think that the stage and everything else was
exceptional. We had to practice our choreography ten days from morning
till the evenings. I was totally relaxed because it was known from
beginning that top five are going to be from France, Turkey, Poland,
Spain...." I don't think that I was liked by many but that didn't
bother me because I was good friends with miss from Bosnia, Slovenia and
Macedonia. In couple instances Miss Albania tried to provoke me but I
went there to represent my country so I did not pay much attention to
her. I spent most of my time with Sanja Plese Miss from Bosnia
(pictured above) because we could understand each other the best. We
were always together that people could start asking us about each other when
we were alone. Even with all these small glitches my trip to Beirut
was a memorable one especially when Vesna Jugovic came from Yugoslavia and
spent couple days with me in Beirut where we celebrated New
Year.
