We have two cats, Max and Pumpkin Pie, and a radical rabbit named The Undertaker! We live in California (currently Salinas, near Monterey and Carmel), but hopefully soon to move to Yuba City, CA for a once in a life job opportunity! I work full time in municipal Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services. I am currently a Recreation Services Manager but soon to be a Director for Yuba City (if all goes as planned!!) My hobbies include photography (especially macro), camping, writing poetry (I have three books published), traveling, collecting antique coffee grinders, casino gambling (Blackjack Queen! Hi there !
I'm Marie-Anne, married for nearly 14 years to Frans. Together we have two wonderful girls; Sanne (9)& Tanja (5). We've got a rabbit (zwartje=blacky in english), a shelty dog named Shadow and two kittens. The children don't know how to name them yet.
I'm a SAHM and do volunteer work once a week for children who are being abused. This is very useful but sometimes very difficult work. I'm interested in Mythology, Philosophy, Psychology & the supernatural. My favorite country is Egypt, because I think it's got great culture and history. Collecting home decorating ideas is a real hobby of mine. Reading a good book, cooking a nice meal for family & friends & walking my are also things I enjoy a lot. Not to forget my computer & PSP of course....
I love life & try to get the most out of it. Well I guess that's about it.
