The ghosts of Wales, like the people and the scenery are varied and different and utterly delightful. During our researches we have found many different versions on the same theme, but some like the ones here you will remember whichever version you know. There are literally hundreds of "haunted" spots in Wales and it has been estimated there is a one in ten chance of any one of us seeing a ghost during our lifetime. This collection of ghost stories has been gathered from different sources; word of mouth, books and newspapers, and as far as possible they have been unchanged, except where necessary to bring them into modern ways of speech.
